ziggy, I love your button picture. How did you make the tree - is it a die cut?

Well, I had to go to Hobbycraft today to buy a few things - cord to finish my bags for Beads of Courage, a clip frame because I broke the glass when I put a picture on the floor temporarily and then stood on it :o, some bits and pieces to start trying out ideas for wedding stationery for son's wedding next year, some blank cards and double sided tape so I can make some more cards from my stash - and a couple of pompom makers because I saw them. I am therefore claiming everything except the last item as "essential" - and that last item is a tool, so not really stash as it can never be used up. So can I avoid the naughty step, please?

I printed the tree directly onto whatever patterned paper I had laying around, I had bought some die cut trees in the past but thought I'd try this idea and save money and use stash of "free" papers from magazines. If you would like the pic of the tree I can email it to you - I have printed it in different sizes too.

Yes, you are excused the naughty step :A

Had a really rough couple of days but managed to turn myself around and I have two more to declare towards my target

A picture for our hallway (canvas, wooden letters, paint & two felt hearts)
14 cards (am going to give them to our local pre-school to help raise some funds)

15 pics from facebook

I also must confess to making a purchase - 6 cork coasters - but these will help use up a bit of stash - my plan is to cover them in maps (one of my friends gave me an old map/atlas) with walking quotes on and then varnish, similar to this card

Keep up the great work everyone :T

Had a lovely day today (not left the house) watched a FAB film "Pay it Forward", had a nap (that I didnt realise I needed but obviously did) and a little more crafting - 9 cards to raise funds for pre-school so will add another item to my signature

Keep up the great crafting everyone :A

If you like I can send you an email with the tree picture and you can print any size and stick any buttons on either as cards or pictures. My email is christine.lockley@blueyonder.co.uk

For some reason I unable to see your pics and I have no idea why:(

I am looking forward to making the coasters and hope they turn out as I expect - going to print text onto map pages and then stick to coasters and plenty of varnish - text thought of so far:

Walk to the beat of your own Drum
Hit the Road
Take a Hike
Walking on Sunshine
Whatever you do you have to keep moving Forward

I really do LOVE this group - the support and encouragement is second to none - thank you for making it a great thread :A
