mothernerd, take things easy - everything will get done in the end.

rufusdog, I like that bag very much. What pattern did you use?

tattycath, thinking of you, take care - mmm I can almost smell your baking!

floreneceem, another super make. You've trained your OH well, for him to bring you found items.

GBSB - I love that programme! I think the right person went last night. Don't want to name who I think will win, in case it spoils it for others catching up. All 3 ladies have a good shout, for different reasons, and I'll be happy for any of them to win. Don't think it will be last night's star garment maker. Of the other two - will it be flamboyance or classic lines?

I have used stash only to make a card for son's engagement. Future DIL loves stars and the colour blue, so that was my starting point. The card is a very pale blu, although it looks white in the pictures. Apologies for my kitchen intruding - the light was best in there tonight.

    Love your card! :)
Since I was last on here I have made orange, lime and lemon curd (all 3 in 1 curd. :)
I have made cheese scones and due to serious mismanagement of time I have bread in the oven! It isn't due out for 20 minutes!
Think I might go to bed then. And have a proper rest day tomorrow. :D

  • Lovely card greentiger - i especially like the use of the inside. I always seem to forget to do the inside of a card. Be a great way to use extra stash!

I've done a birthday card for my brother's fiancee this morning, so my target is upped by 1. Although after the slight fail this week, i doubt i will be buying anything for a while!

Hi all, I'm still here but just seem to have been too busy to do anything lately :)

It's good to see so many new makes on here though - well done to each and everyone of you. I love them all. You are all sooooo putting me to shame :)

Florencem - I have a big shot and grand callibur too and I love both those machines :) Well done on finishing all the padded hangers. You are going to have lots of happy gift receipiants very soon :) Huge congrats on making your target and good luck for your new target figure :) Also congrats on soon to be grandma again :) Ooooooh I love vintage buttons and lace - can't wait to see new make :) The jeans bag is amazing - well done you on being so creative with a bit of "rubbish". Thanks for the pics of your great cards too - its reminded me that I've got those toppers and kits too and they will be just perfect for a birthday coming up soon :)

ziggy2407 - I think you have more than excuse to be feeling tired - me on the other hand no excuse at all :) Hope you keep getting stronger by the day :)

tattycath - happy pondering :) I am just caught up on the sewing bee and now can't wait for the final :) Once it's over I might have more time for crafting :) Hope you are feeling better today :) I love cake and lemon curd so if there is ever any going spare.................:)

loopychris - well done on decluttering. I know I need to do this but needing and wanting are two totally different things :( Good luck with the Order of Service's :) Your list is looking great and your totals are coming along nicely :)

kinski - love the button heart pic. The colours are really beautiful. I may well be digging out all my green things soon after being so inspired - thank you :) Glad to hear the bunting has gone to a new home :)

susan42 - I really need to follow your no computer rule. I keep getting distracted by pinterest, docrafts gallery, facebook, hayday, blogs etc .......

rufusdog52 - love the bags. They both look so well made. I'm sure you will have a great day at the craft fair - good luck :)

love2shop2 - happy belated mother's day to you too. I had a lovely day with my kids spoiling me with breakfast in bed and then a treasure hunt to find my presents. Lots of them were handmade using my stash so it was a win win - I got some beautiful keepsakes from my kids and it used up a tiny percentage of my stash :) What a brilliant present you got - despite having lots of cutting machines (including expensive digital ones) I still love my Big Shot the best. Have lots of fun using it and I can't wait to see your projects soon :)

greentiger - loving the sound of the foam lego card - I've got heaps of funky foam in my stash and lots of lego fans who I know so may well be trying this idea out very soon :) Also sounds like you will have a great time away crafting. I'm very impressed a holiday where you will stash busting - A* - top marks for you :) Loving the thinking on tools - that's how I justify buying them too :) Brilliant card - fantastic use of stash - I too think I will start decorating the insides and envelopes in an attempt to try and tame the stash :)

mooloo - don't worry - I don't seem to be making any progress either!!!! Like the sound of the dolly bags but I can't see the pic either :(

emslovesmickey - wow 8 items - you crafting machine you - well done. Keep up your stirling efforts (I desperately need the motivation) :) I forgive you for your sins - TIm Holtz is a weakness of mine too (well one of many) PS: I like the backstreet boys too :)

mothernerd - nice to see you back - promise me that you never let this challenge overwhelm you. It is meant as a bit of fun and an inspiration to use up your stash. I will never ever shout at you or punish you any way if you don't abide by it. Crafting is fun and always should be :) Remember we are all always here if you need us :) Anyway your post sounds like lots of progress to me - even with a poorly leg - hope it gets better soon and the stairs are soon fixed so you can craft away again very soon :)

craftyc - life always seems to be like that in our household too. Hope everything is ok :) Massive well done on reaching target and making lots of lovely things out of your stash for charity, friends and family. Good for you treating yourself to a reward - and a felting machine - I think I really NEED one of those :) Keep up your brilliant work and I look forward to seeing some of your felted creations very soon :)

    Happy crafting everyone :)

As my last post was so long (I really should try and reply everyday to posts) :) I thought I would update you on my progress here.

My two children came home on Thursday after judo (7.30pm) stating that they desperately wanted to give their 4 student teachers presents as Friday (i.e. tomorrow!) was their last day. Panic set in - then I calmed down and remembered some of my stash. I found blank door hangers from Craftwork Cards and some alphabet pretty papers which I have had for years. After covering the door hangers in the said pretty paper I then printed off suitable clipart images I had bought previously (again a long time ago and never used) and also used lots of alphabet stickers to make door hangers for their new classes once qualified. I also found some blank A4 notepads with kraft covers and decorated these with the same papers and images I used for the hangers. I purposely left the covers with lots of blank space so that the other pupils could write goodbye and good luck messages on them. Even though I say so myself they looked quite good for such a quick make and I will try and post pics on my blog very soon.

I also gave the kids some of my stash to make cards so I can declare a total of 12 new items made. :)
