Happy Birthday rufusdog hope you have a good day, it's mine tomorrow but I think I'm probably a good bit older than you are :rotfl:. I was naughty yesterday, because I quite liked doing the button thing I went and bought a small glue gun, it only cost £5 and I hope to get some good use out of it, I want to get some very very cheap deep photo frames and do all my grandbrats initials in them with buttons which I already have. I'm just about to sew the tartan flags on to the bias binding, unfortunately I made to many of them, I made 48 flags for each load of bunting but I only need about 30 for each :rotfl::rotfl:.

The last few weeks since my heart attack have taken their toll on my crafting but over the last few days I have managed to make 35 cards which I am going to give as gifts to my 5 sis-in-laws - I hope they like them as much as I do

I have also decided that I am going to take a look at my target and what I have achieved so far. When I set out on this challenge it was for me to do at least 52 projects over the year but Ive noticed that I have added all my cards individually and feel that this is a bit of a cheat so I will be adjusting my signature accordingly, these cards will be added as 5 and not 35 (hope you all understand my waffle, lol)

Everyone is doing a fab job and there is some amazing work being shown, you are truly inspirational.

Ziggy2407 I love your cards they are beautiful. I don't see why you can't count them individually. I have been to my local craft group this afternoon and found that blankets are required for Africa, but they wish us to just send over the squares so the African ladies can meet up and sew them together themselves. I will therefore be counting my squares individually when I start to knit them. I think it is a lovely idea that the African ladies will have somewhere to meet up and will hopefully enjoy taking part in crafting as much as we do.
Rufusdog Hope you are having a lovely birthday.
Kinski I'm sure you are allowed to buy a glue gun if it is required to make something to help reduce your stash. :-)
Maisie M I think your cards are beautiful, where did you get those terracotta pots from? they are so sweet.
I have finished another fish n chip jumper & hat so my stash and target are reducing again. (pics on flickr Julie Jules 2012) ;-)

Hi x can anybody help me. Do any of you use a machine to cut card and fabric? I would like to do both and preferably like the recommendations of people who use them x thanks
