I dont think you'd be allowed to buy that many coins at one time unfortunately. However you can only buy up to 9 coins online at one time. 9 x £5 for example. Check out:

So maybe you could do this over several days? Not sure how much P & P is
as didn't bother to register as I dont have my card yet. But you might be able to make a small profit this way?
Let me know how you get on
Cheers!0 -
Good news. I just registered. Thought why not check out the P & P and it seems to be free!? But I dont know if they'd put a limit on the amount of purchases you could make?

Check whether this is consider a "cash advance" by your card as ou'll get charged interest straight away.
Of course you could pay the card of (or even put it in credit for a short time) to avoid interest.
Please let usknow if you find out.
I generally advise against being in credit because sometimes credit balances are not insured but I think it's a small risk if the period we are talking about is very short.0 -
I applied yesterday for the American express platinum 5% cashback card, i've just realised that i didnt check if there was an annual fee or not, anyway i cant seem to find out now on their website, so does anyone know if they charge an annual fee? Plus do they charge for purchases?0

Would this not be classed as buying currency or a cash withdrawal and therefore incur a charge from the credit card?
Like your thinking though!
I know BT using the Egg Money card can be classed as part of their 1% - I maxed out my £200 limit last year using it as a mule for stoozing0 -
Lucy,
Although the link you gave us does indeed state 2% cashback, if you go to the Platinum Card page site via their main page, it states only 1% cashback, and also a 2.5% fee on balance transfers:
http://www.barclaycard.co.uk/personal-home/cards/platinum-hero/platinum-with-cashback/index.html
So I'll use your link if it's still valid!
When you get your card, can you let us know if they are indeed still giving you 2% cashback- thanks!lucy604gym wrote: »There is a good offer of a Barclaycard at the moment via the Barclays Internet Banking, I have just applied
2% Cashback on Supermarket & Petrol spend, plus a 9 month BT with only a 1.5% fee.
You can access by clicking on the link below

I am going to apply via the link too! good point!
Does anyone know if this card can be cleared in full monthly by direct debit?
Thanks.0 -
Be warned, we have found that the time between receiving a Capital One statement and having to make payment is VERY short. If a bank holiday coincides with your statement's arrival, or you are on holiday, you could have problems meeting the deadlines. Set up a direct debit so you don't end up out of pocket.0
