I don't doubt what you say is correct.
I typed "I dont see them on Supermarket doors and I had to hunt to find them on 2 local Aldis"
I don't consider Boots a Supermarket and your response brings another point, not only do boots accept most Credit and Debit Cards they want me to be a loyal customer and want me to join a Loyalty scheme and issue me with a card. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
I have no experience of shopping at Superdrug and I dont know where my nearest store is. Do they accept Credit Cards.
Is Superdrug a similar supermarket to Aldi ?
Would you answer my question which you might not have seen ?
Do you offer customers a discount for cash in your store if they ask.0 -
Wow if this it true i strongly advise Aldi staff to find work at another supermarket !
Aldi store assistants are paid between £7.70 to £9.20.per hour.
I have never known Aldi operating the price memory system. The only company I recall doing that were Kwik Save and look what happened to them !
I wish I could get paid £7.70/hour0 -

Go to your Local Aldi store they display a list of vacancies.
What they don't dsplay is an accurate description of Credit cards and debit Cards they accept.
While you are there if you want to buy anything dont try to use a Credit Card unless the Aldi store is in Scotland , parts of South Wales (even calling Aldi at Swindon they don't know which ones of their South Wales stores accept Credit Cards ), or Berwick Upon Tweed.0 -

Haven't you said this about 100 times now?0 -

https://www.gov.uk/national-minimum-wage-ratesThe National Minimum Wage rate per hour depends on your age and whether you’re an apprentice - you must be at least school leaving age to get it.
Apprentice* £2.68
Under 18 £3.72
18 to 20 £5.03
21 and over £6.31
*This rate is for apprentices under 19 or those in their first year. If you’re 19 or over and past your first year you get the rate that applies to your age.0 -

The Living Wage just released is £7.65 per hour.
I'm surprised that no one has suggested that Aldi are paying their store staff too much at £7.70 per hour.0 -

Exactly.
Is anyone daft enough to think the likes of the big four supermarkets don't load the merchant fees onto the prices of the goods they sell? Not incurring merchant fees surely allows Aldi to keep their prices lower.
If they increased their prices by 3% to cover merchant fees but you then get 1% cashback for paying with a cashback credit does that really make you better off?"A nation of plenty so concerned with gain" - Isley Brothers - Harvest for the World0 -
