And this extra protection and legal rights costs credit card providers much more to administer...meaning higher fees to retails for processing these payments...meaning Aldi wont accept them as a payment method...meaning 653 posts on the subject....0

How does selling goods not fit for purpose mean extra costs to all customers.
You do not know the reason why Aldi only accept Credit Cards in Scotland parts of South Wales and Berwick Upon Tweed ?0 -

You are aware that any company that takes CC have to increase their prices to cover the 2 to 3% processing fee, so even if you pay by cash you are also paying the extra on the goods.0 -

Yes I agree and Aldi do not communicate very well with their customers.
I don't agree that they have to increase their prices.
They set their prices to compete in the supermarket sector..
On your logic do Aldi offer discount to debit card and or cash payers.
On your logic are you assuming that the cost of Aldi products are more expensive in Scotland parts of South Wales and Berwick Upon Tweed where Aldi accept Credit cards0 -
I'm not sure about all supermarkets having regional head offices. Yes they all have regional distribution centres, but usually just one central head office.0

I agree however
Aldi region in Scotland appear to have decided that Credit Cards will be accepted in Scotland and in the England town of Berwick Upon Tweed.
Aldi region in Swindon Wiltshire appear to have decided that Credit Cards will be accepted in parts of South Wales.0 -

if you look at a majority of door signs on highstreet stores where it says they take cards you will see in small letters something like 'a 2.2% card processing fee is included in the price of goods to cover the card processing fees' This means ALL prices include the card processing fee, even if you pay in cash you are technically paying the same processing fee.
I dont see them on Supermarket doors and i had to hunt to find them on 2 local Aldis
Do you offer customers a discount for cash in your store0
