customers were buying the dog food from the chip shop opposite and from Aldis. (

If the customers were buying food for the dog from the chip shop then if they were feeding it sausage which contains Pork they should be aware of...

    from a yahoo answer page...

"Although your dog may love pork and ham, it is really something that you should avoid giving him. It can have many negative effects on his digestive tract. You will probably notice that your dog will have diarrhea if he eats pork or ham, or he might even vomit with blood "

If they fed the dog Kebab meat i dread to think.

Can you supply details to the RSPCA please ?

If Berwick Upon Tweed really was in Scotland the Berwick Upon Tweed chip shops could be selling deep fried all sorts of things.

Exactly Thank you for pointing this out. why do a Prices or geographic location determine acceptance of a credit card. By Aldi ?
well its only in Scotland and if you are not aware Scotland have their own Scottish parliament that have their own policies, so maybe an incentive in Scotland.

but why should i be paying an average £60,000 for a 2 bed flat in the North of England, but a 2 bed apartment ( posh name for flat) in London cost an average £250,000

Just the same as any other store they don't have to list all the possible payment methods they don't accept.

Thank you for pointing this out you are a genius

If Aldi had their act together they would do their best to be informative and helpful to their customers.

Aldi suggest they are pro active on food labeling information why not be pro active on customer care through out the UK helping their customers and try and improve customers relations.

Happy customers and Happy staff means Happy profits

Also Gromit, don't forget just like you can take your custom elsewhere any store can refuse to serve you or anyone if they think you are being rude to their staff and if they are part of a town radio link system they could pass your details to other stores in the town as a disruptive customer.

Yes, that would look good in the press for the store concerned wouldn't it?

"Customer banned from supermarket for requesting empty tills to be opened to reduce queues."

Staff member: "Would you mind using the self service tills?"
Customer: "I'd prefer it if you opened one of these empty tills"
Staff member: "You are banned from all our stores and will be marked as a disruptive customer to other stores."

    Why not ask Aldi?
You won't necessary get any improvement asking on here, but you just might get some action or at lest an explanation if you use your time productively in the right direction.
    Have you asked Aldi?
    What did they say?

but the OP does not look at the Internet, he expects stores to list the 3,000+ payment methods that they dont accept, so by the time customers have read all of them, they have forgotten what they went to the store for, so just go home, so the store gets no customers, so therefore the store HQ closes the store down for under performing

According to Aldi signs and their website,,,,

Aldi do no accept Debit Cards with Visa or Mastercard symbols alone.

Do you shop at Aldi with a debit card that has a single VISA or Mastercard badge on its front and reverse sides ? If you have how did you know Aldi would accept them please ??

Any business can refuse to serve any customer and even ban them without any given reason. if you make a fuss infront of other customers then the store can remove you from their premises

Of course they can, but that would be extremely poor customer service in my view if it's the result of a polite request.
The staff memeber in question should AT LEAST establish if the customer has any special needs that require help when they get a request and not just chuck someone out of the store at the first polite request for help.
I expect chucking someone out because they asked for something politely might get the store bad publicity if it's done in front of other customer.s

I think you'rr on dodgy ground here and seriously overreacting.
Fortunately in real life most staff do not overreact like that and listen to the request and the needs of the cutsomer first.

Do you chuck out blind and disabled people because they are "trouble"?
