EE is to be instructed to cancel my contract, without charge, backdate to the 25th May, waving any charges occurred after that date, pay me £25 compensation, plus send me a PAC code! Awesome..
Thank you once again RandomCurve! The revised response to EE's decision, especially about how we, or I, was pathetically informed 'Oh, you had your chance to cancel beforehand'. has probably made the adjudicators, (in my case Claire Andrews), to decide wisely.
In truth, I had my response expertly tailored for me (or at least made a basis I think) at post 1072, but I hope it sets a trend for many more successful decisions :)
    Cheers All!

    Onwards and Upwards...

    That's excellent news!

I'm using RandomCurves responce to your post #1072 for my daughter's contract as she had the exact same defence from EE.

For my own contract, had an email from CISAS yesterday confirming my acceptance and PAC code, compensation and backdated refund on there way. :)

Just got an email from EE today saying my PAC is on the way and once I've used it to expect the £50.00 comp and full refund from the 14th April.. Perhaps EE have been told to stop the dodgy business with misinterpreting what "backdated cancellation" means?

    Did your decision say:
Back dated penalty free cancellation, or
Backdated with all sums taken from that date being refunded (or words to the at effect)?

Hopefully the former so that common sense prevails.
Some CISS adjudicators have told EE that Backdated does mean with a refund - and other CISAS adjudicators are either spineless or don't know what they meant by "backdated" as backdated means nothing if there is no corresponding refund!

    Below sent to MSE today.

The MSE community are getting impatient with me to start the next fight with EE to combine the change in T&C and price rise campaigns into a new campaign. I have posted that I was waiting to find out what, if any, support MSE can offer by way of a news story or contacting Ofcom for a statement etc.

I know things must be busy, but can you let me know one way or another if MSE will give us some support so that we can get going.

Here's the text from my decision:
I direct that the company should: provide the customer with his PAC and allow him to cancel his
contract without penalty backdated to 14 April 2014; and pay the customer compensation of
    £50.00.

So looks like the former indeed, fingers crossed for everyone else!

Has anyone received a response from OFCOM re the chase for a resonse to the 2 specific questions we raised?

I'm yet to receive anything and it's now been close to 60 days since my original complaint was raised, if you've not got anything back it's probably worth replying copying in media again to highlight the lack consumer support we're getting.

had to stop myself from adding in "appreciate it must be difficult to diarise time with Olaf and Jeroen, but surely in 60 days you must have had at least one golf day with them to discuss how best to get your next price rise/T&C change through"

Now I think I shall find a 4G sim only deal ( Let us know of one, anyone knows), since I brought myself a LG G3 32GB, as i had sold my Note 3. Brought from a fantastic online German site, called ATELCO, (atelco.de) for a converted rate, from euros, to £487 (If paid by debit/credit card, as paypal has a crap conversion rate). Of course, this is for anyone who's interested ;)

    Cheers All!

I've been told really good things about Three's 4G network. I am not sure how good it is in really but for the money you pay on SIM only - £23 per month, unlimited 4G, truly unlimited.

Cisas have now agreed that my claims to CISAS are different. The original for price rise, failed. The new one which was my original complaint to EE is now being heard. Will keep you all posted on the response from EE.

So your new CISAS claim is based on T&C? You're like the guinea pig for the rest of us that lost aren't you?

If so, that bodes well that they will listen to the new one.

No Pilotmic tried to cancel re T&C's ages ago during the window which we were able too (I seem to remember the post earlier).

We've missed that window so our claims will be different.
