Congratulations to all the August ladies who have made it over the threshold whilst I have been absent! I hope you had lovely, happy days and are more deeply in love with your new husbands then ever.

To Sazzarella, the last of our August ladies, good luck and I hope you have a wonderful day - you deserve it!

It is REALLY annoying to have someone drop out last minute but just focus on all the people who mean so much to you who DO go and realise that the ones who didn't consider you important enough to book time off in advance, didn't deserve to be there anyway!! EEE!! xx

More or less, we have the usual last minute bits such as seating plans to finalise, orders of service etc to print but I THINK it is all coming together. :) :T :D

Having some SERIOUS bridesmaid issues.. for example, seemingly, she had planned to turn up to wear th £200 dress I have bought for her (not very MSE I know) and pose for pictures.. I asked her what size bag she would have so I can suss out what bits I can put in there and she told me she isn't planning to have one and doesn't see why she should buy one (and what exactly would I expect to put in there). Apparently she feels I am using her as a 'service' which she didn't think it was - I told her to Google 'being a bridesmaid'.

I feel VERY frustrated with her. She came to my hen night out (in Nottingham) with £20 in her purse!!! Knowing we would need a taxi in and back and were getting food (all of which she would obviously be expected to contribute towards) and then going for a good ol' bender. I ended up paying for her drinks all night!!   I wouldn't mind but of those of us who went out she is the one who lives at home still etc so hasn't got the kind of outgoings as the rest of us do.

We are meeting in a few minutes to talk face to face as I feel if we don't sort it out soon someone else is going to have to wear her dress and she won't be coming at all!!

I don't understand why you needed her to bring a bag?

Do you know what? I'm married now and I don't really care anymore. My day is done, I had as little interaction as possible with her and took my own damned bag! :T

I just don't understand, I was recently a bridesmaid and didn't take any of the brides stuff, I had no room in my bag for my stuff let alone hers!!

I'm not having bridesmaids as I don't see the point, but if I did, I would expect that to be one of their duties-lipstick, perfume etc, most brides don't walk up the aisle with a bag, many don't have a bag at all.....I'm just going to put stuff like that in my mums bag ( I know she'll have one) and may leave a bag at the reception venue for later once I'm not holding my bouquet.

Tash we had such an amazing day. Despite rigid planning obv a few things went wrong and we had more no shows on the day but had such a good time with the people who turned up :D Cant believe its all over now!!
