Your friend sounds lovely by the way!

I was thinking about this, she REALLY is. We were planning our get together for Christmas, remember I said she was worried cos I had sent a text? it was just in general conversation, she knows me so well that she read between the lines and luckily was relatively nearby.

I am so lucky to have her as my friend. a good friend is always a good friend.

I was going to ask a question about banking but it has gone out of my head - I must be more sleepy than I realise!

I should go to bed but can't sleep.

eek it is 12.30! need to be up in 5.5 hours.

holidays are nearly here. that's good.

been a rough couple of days for various reasons. Things with the e mail guy have stopped. he didn't write for a few days and I decided I had shared too much and he was not going to write again so I wished him Merry Christmas and said good bye - he took affront not surprisingly and we have decided to not to write.

Am sad but to be honest what is the point of writing a guy who I am never going to meet? even as a friend, I mean I meet people from here! from other forums. He was very set in his ways. And was getting a bit wearing, nothing really happens! he was nice enough, just exactly what he said. big dreams of travel but never went any where and I don't think we especially fancied each other.

*sighs deeply tries hard not to be negative about men*

I need a new approach to meeting men. Online dating - either you get super lucky or you spend your life meeting weirdos and freaks. And I have a pattern - chatting for AGES and never meeting.

I also need more confidence in that department. any how that is for 2014 and probably a different diary.

Work finishes tomorrow, kids have been NUTS. I have tonnes to do over the holidays but it might be ok.

I sorted out my bank accounts as I was paid early - scary! and properly sorted out a clothes fund and a virtual sealed pot. and my real sealed pots too.

    so tired. need sleep.

    night all XXXX

  • Dear Dairy :)

I am on Christmas holidays! Am very happy about that :)

It has been a stressful two days (!) and I have spent LOADS of money.

The brakes on mums car went and as I was having a radio fitted for Christmas I got them done. also my hair was far more expensive than I realised too. so a total of 230 pounds spent. Lent mum 105 pounds and I am not completely sure if she is paying it back now or later.

I have pretty much decided to get a loan to buy a new car. Mine is on it's last legs of it's nine lives - I love it but it must go soon. Too much to keep worrying about it.

It has cost me a lot recently. I can't keep covering it - I have used up the money I borrowed at the start of the year fixing (and paying vet fees) it Mental and cannot go like this!

I am skint now and not got all my presents sorted yet. May have to resort to the credit card which would be a right bloody pain in the !!!!.

    must make decisions

have to got out now to get fish and chips. another tenner - ish.

    am so hungry!!

  • Post fish and chips

Yep I know we shouldn't have them but we don't really have them every week........hmm actually maybe we do..........
    *coughs*
won't have them when Mum goes to Florida.

One thing I have worked out is that I do not make decisions. Not about the car, my job (not till it got ridiculous anyhow) the fish tanks, where I live, how to save, going out, shopping etc.

This costs me time and money. I must make decisions.

    My New Year Resolutions are

    1. Make decisions.
    2. Go to bed early.

    My Goals

    1. get a boyfriend (going to try Amazon.........)
    2. get a new car (might have done that already)
    3. save 5000 pounds. (got £3000 - may use that for )
    4. get a new job in Sept.
    5. finish my Masters (must e mail tutor)
    6. Crack the depression.
    7. Be debt free.
    8. work towards my 10 long term goals

really should do the fish tanks.

  • Am so hungry!

Any how that aside, money not as bad as I thought! Had already paid my sister for some of the joint presents - had forgotten. And really being boring and sensible I have moved my Dec pay into a savings account and put some money aside for the new car to lower the loan - if I do get one. boo. the car I was looking at is very hard on petrol.....has a big engine. To be fair I would probably love to drive it and may not be anymore expensive than my current very old car which I love.

any how that is for after Christmas.

lots to do today, furniture moving, fish tank moving, and finally tree putting up.

Also have to pop to the shops - is that possible to do on the last Saturday before Christmas?

    Good Morning Buffy :)

I have lots to do today too, but cant seem to move from the sofa this morning. I think it's because i have to do the food shop and am putting off. I am dreading going, as the SMs are always hectic this time of year. I am just going to take it easy, write a list and stick to it, and refuse to get annoyed or stressed. Hmm...i'll let you know how that goes :D

If you find a BF on Amazon, please let me know! Tall, blonde and loyal is my ideal :)

    good luck doing the tanks.
