  • Well, I put my pj's on made the mistake of watching two episodes of Sleepy Hollow and simply surfing the net rather than doing anything constructive.

Am going out today. don't want to. got a tummy ache! lol In honour of being paid proper monthly wages I bought Mum and I Chinese for dinner and I don't think it has entirely agreed with me. ugh. punishment for gluttony it was nice though.

    So money wise,

I was able to pay back 100 to the Christmas fund, 100 to the car fund,

    *I can't stand Rick Stein*

    moving on,

Bills, savings and whatnots are paid. Need to pay my CC....

I have about 600 pounds left of wages once everything goes out.
Thing is my guinea pig is so ill, he either has a severe kidney infection or actual kidney failure. I saw a BRILLIANT vet last night and she was really helpful but it will be expensive.

so I am not going to make any payments. must eat breakfast

    xxxxx

  • Aims

    1. Recent holiday photos suggest I look slightly more like a chipmunk than I would like.........So I am going to lose 7 pounds before Christmas.

    2. Do not use my Tesco's Credit card until 2014. this is the one I always use "by accident"....I pay it off each month but it isn't necessary really.

    3. November will be a card free Month. Unless online shopping I shall use cash.

    4. I will finish decluttering the bedroom and the conservatory.

    5. I will sort my paperwork out

    6. I will reduce my CC debt by 1000 pounds. (currently 4716)

    7. I will be ready for Christmas on the 15th December.

    1. The weight loss isn't happening I haven't even weighed myself! To be honest I haven't had time to think this last month.

    2. I haven't used my Tesco's card this month. I may not be able to manage over Christmas tho - some things I will want to order on line and I do get points! But we shall see.

    3. I managed without spending on my Cash card aside from two lots of petrol. so am pleased with that.

    4. Had made inroads into clutter. Running out of time tho.

    5. I have a bag of stuff to shred.

    6. That will not happen. Between the car (300 ) and potential gp vet spends plus I simply wont have the cash spare as I am not getting paid as much as before. Whatever money I have left post Xmas I shall use on the CC. However come the new year I will NEED to start making big payments.

    7. This might be possible. Might. Much of what I am buying will be online and I have some stuff ordered already. Will be putting the tree up then!

I have Aunt Flo visiting (always a surprise! even tho I had ALL the signs) and as ever I am feeling miserable. I keep forgetting to take the asta whatever they called tablets. I am feeling bad about this year, not paying off the debt and not having enough in savings. Also never sorting the (benign) skin cancer- not made the appointment still will have to do that in the holidays. Such an idiot.

However this day is my last free day until the 14th so I must get on with my room and the conservatory. Am hoping to finish my room today. I need the space. I would much prefer the sofa and a hot water bottle!

    have a good one

  • Really should have taken the hot water bottle and sofa option.

    Nightmare day.

hormonal wreck, room a tip, gp sick. dogs lovely, hoover broke, sawdust on bed, carpet disgusting. room looks like a crazy charity shop back room.

oh and I spent money! 7 on car wash, 19 on gps, some random amount in a shop. can't remember.

am going to bed now with a single thought. well two.

    1. I am hungry

    2. I WILL overcome this. I will.

Hi Buffy - just catching up with you. Hope things have improved by now. Despite what you think you're doing well. There's progress in some areas so that's a bonus. You can't do everything.

feeling much better now. And was SO glad to read your news SA XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

am not going away this weekend as planned which is a bit depressing. However on the Brightside, I save money, have a bit more time and am going to get to spend some time with my gp who really isn't well. vets are !!!!!! to be honest.

wages have come in and bills are paid, things look ok. going to be a bit tight but it is December.

must just go check my accounts again

    xxx

    Edited to add,
all accounts have remained in credit all month. my ticket refund is in my account and so that will help a bit :)

I need to pay my phone bill (high due to travel and Child in Need!) and my minimum on the CC,

It has to be paid by Oct 2014. that is about £450 a month. hmmm.

so all in all am ok I think.
    xx

  • So tired

    So so tired.

could go to bed right now.

so fed up tonight. it has not been a good week. just normal stuff but then upset by ex very badly and generally feeling lonely and sad at the moment. Just. got. to. get. through. tomorrow.

think it is mainly tiredness. 3 12 hr days on the trot with about 5 hours sleep a night.

still a bit worried it is the depression. just so dark all the time. was so surprised by my reaction to the ex thing. email man won't answer for a few hours.

I like this. need to listen to it more often.

    and I need sleep.

and to focus on the positives.
    1. money is good.
    2. despite losing my best friend this year I do have good friends and appear to be making new friends.
    3. work is going fairly well.
    4. although I am not seeing my friends this weekend it does give me the opportunity to get Christmas sorted a bit more.

    Dear Universe,

A few weeks ago I asked you to send me a man, taller than me, cute, kind, healthy, educated who is my love and I his.

None have been forthcoming so I am resubmitting the request.

    thanks.
