Hello
am back.
sort of. Had temp, earache, felt disgusting. went to work today. Mistake.
Hey ho.
am thinking all kinds of things. and now have a headache. Keep thinking back to this time last year and how unhappy I was. It isn't like that but there are moments........
I am ok really just so tired/ill/lonely! Suppose I should go to bed.
ooo moneywise today was a NSD!

Hello Buffy
Hope you are feeling better today.
Just checking in. Will update my diary shortly.
Sounds like you have a handle on the money - not using your CC is a great achievement.
I'll try to check in more often.

Hello Diary Readers,
I was seriously contemplating giving my notice.
I don't think I should given what is said under the temp contract section here.
http://www.atl.org.uk/help-and-advice/other-issues/notice-periods.asp
It is MILES better than my old place. But since I agreed to the contract they have piled the work on big time. I have 3 hours free from lessons in the whole week and the whole thing is becoming a hideous mess.
well no, not entirely. I think I need to come to terms with the fact that working hard won't be as pointless as working in the old place.
However recently both the women I work closely with have been I feel quite rude. it is not too bad as most days I don't see them. And to be fair the boss is ok, just tough and as it is an outstanding school I can see her point.
And I do need to raise my game re my practice.
And I can't lie re money, CV, MA and the fact I will need a new car, dentist stuff.
If I could, I would walk tomorrow. I know teaching is no longer for me.
Don't get me wrong, I love the lesson side of things. But all the other !!!!, learning walks, observations, stupid pointless promotions, !!!!!!!! insets, forms, data, parents evening, open evening, marking, misuse of levels, academies, ofsted, Gove and the !!!!ing coalition and seriously we did have a BS inset on Wednesday, GOOD GOD it was like Captain Obvious wrote it.
It is eight months if I stay. 4 if I give notice - but possibly end up with a !!!! reference. And please don't say people can't give bad references. When I was a governor I read plenty of read between the lines references.
It looks like I made a massive mistake agreeing to the contract.

Have made a decision. I shall e mail and well - I shan't write here what I am going to say, cos that could be silly! But it's enough to say I feel better.Nevertheless she persisted.0

Well Job quibbles over with for now I decided to do some banking.
I haven't been paid since half way through October. I am surprised I have done so well. I am deeply skint - car cost 300 pounds to fix and it's not worth it! but it does get me to work and will allow me time to save up again.
The money I borrowed for the new car essentially went on the vets in the summer and then the old car. And some went on Munich as well.
my target for the new car is 2155.76. very precise as that is exactly what it should be.
SO I was figuring on borrowing it. ha. ha.
had it all worked - 0% card etc etc.
Once the craziness abated I thought clearly.
Say I pretend I am actually
2155.76 + 4690 = 6845.76
That seven six is going to drive me nuts.
How do I work out what percentage my car savings are of my total debt?

No idea about the sums, me heid is fried and I'm no use to anyone as its too late but I admire the accuracy and wanted to give you a virtual hug and say hoping it will all be OK.
Will skulk off now - lobs a brownie at you too - its soft so shouldnt' hurt.
xxTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
:money:Sleeves up folks.:money:0 -
*munchies Brownie* thank you XXX
I found this website.
http://www.csgnetwork.com/csgpercent.html
freaking genius
So it turns out my car debt is 31.490440798392 % of my total debt.
The internet is a wonderful thing.
SO I could do a whole complicated sum each month but I think instead
60% on the CC
and
40% on the car debt is fair.
aim to pay off 800 a month. tight but doable. It will take eight months. Hmm no it won't more like 900 that isn't really that doable on supply rates.
hmmmmmm. ok. well I'll think of something!

Oh oh Buffy's hatching a new plan! I love it when you come up with a new plan. I'm always doing it - unfortunately mine always look better on paper than in practice!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Oops, it has almost been a week since I last posted.
Some stuff happened at work and I have to say I am very proud of how I handled it. I went and spoke to a few people and sorted it, was prepared to leave really but I may not have to so long as I keep talking and sorting.
The ex messaged. this upset me. I had been doing brilliantly but this came like a shot out of the blue and was very upsetting. I was reticent and distant. Conversation is over for now.
I wrote to my friend - the e mail guy. I am becoming quite fond of him. He is funny and interesting. also we talk a lot- pretty much every day.... It is good.
Also I drove loads this week and tonight had to take one of the piggies to the vets and had to drive some where new so that is good. The whole going to vets thing isn't tho.
bit tired so am going to put pjs on and finish this up date later.
