Hello :)

This diary is literally just going to be until Christmas 2013. Mainly because I LOVE CHRISTMAS and tend to over spend, however this year I have Saved £500 for it and am aiming to not spend every last penny of it!

Love Buffy

    Aims

This challenge runs from 1st Nov to the 25th December - 54 days or 7 weeks and 4 days.

    1. Recent holiday photos suggest I look slightly more like a chipmunk than I would like.........So I am going to lose 7 pounds before Christmas.

    2. Do not use my Tesco's Credit card until 2014. this is the one I always use "by accident"....I pay it off each month but it isn't necessary really.

    3. November will be a card free Month. Unless online shopping I shall use cash.

    4. I will finish decluttering the bedroom and the conservatory.

    5. I will sort my paperwork out

    6. I will reduce my CC debt by 1000 pounds. (currently 4716)

    7. I will be ready for Christmas on the 15th December.

Goodluck with it all - :)

PS I'm sure you don't look like a chipmunk.........unless we are related!

Looking forward to watching from the sidelines, I'm 'off' this year again at xmas as kids are away to their Dads - so will enjoy watching your progress and make some notes for next year when I'm back 'on' again at xmas.

    :)

  • hello,

So day one of the challenge. I haven't used the T CC and I bought petrol in cash. That was the only money I spent I think...oh and some emergency chocolate. The diet isn't great! Rushed out and forgot breakfast!

Decluttering starts tomorrow. And I paid 12.50 off my CC - now 4700.

    1. Must pledge on the NSD thread,
    2. Must find my ISA book.
    3. tomorrow I will walk the dogs - especially since now I bathed them tonight so they no longer look a sight (I do however - time for pjs and dressing gown, am a bit a damp to say the least!)

We must be related too - according to my mum I am getting fat and then in the next breath she offers me home made pie and steak.

I have started on my Christmas buyings and so far have bought two little treats for me which I will put into a box along with other things so that on each day of Christmas I can have a little present. I think mum put me in the mind for Christmas by showing me a little ornament that she picked up in a charity shop.

    Good luck with your quest.
