Afternoon ladies, i have spent the last hour updating my list, it does not look pretty and is growing. I have so far resisted buying anything even the Elemis set on QVC, so I will repeat 10 times.
I do not need anything, I do not need anything, I do not need anything, I do not need anything, I do not need anything, I do not need anything, I do not need anything, I do not need anything, I do not need anything, I do not need anything.
I might have to repeat this a 100 times next time.
INS
5 from birchbox
2 sachets freebies
UU's
Elemis lip revive WNBA did not think it did anything. Repurposed as a moisutriser for my nose, I am trying to not look like I am auditioning for rudolf (cold).
FP Shire 50g body whip WNBA i prefer other scents and I have so much to get through.
Pantene leave in conditioner 150ml WBA i like the product.
Elemis pro collagen marine cream 4 ml WBA HG
caudalie eye and lip serum 1.5 ml WNBA did very little, still have another is use up.
Neutrogena anti ageing hand cream 50 ml WNBA i prefer there concentrated hand cream.
2 pairs of eye lashes WNBA I attempted to use these for a party a few weeks ago and the first pair were self adhesive but did not stick and the second pair had glue and looked silly so I took them off. Both pairs came from beauty boxes.
GA
Yves rocher so purple 30ml wrapped for Christmas
Elemis body scrub 150ml wrapped for Christmas0 -

LOL Sam... This reminds me of Bart Simpson at the beginning of each episode of the Simpsons where he is in detention writing "I will not *insert something naughty*" repeatedly on the black board... I love how it changes every episode
NPI today in Boots - I almost bought the Neutrogena Creamy Oil Moisturiser...
I don't have much moisturiser in my stash at the moment - some scented Laura Mercier mini tubes which I only use on nights out as they are far too sickly for the day (think scents like creme brûl!e) and a 200ml bottle of Bio Oil. I've been using the Bio Oil all over - I'll never finish it if I only use it on scars, so I've decided to finish it this way as it's already over a year old.
Anyway, I walked away from the Neutrogena one telling myself I don't need it right now, and can get it if I still want it once I finish what I have.
I'm down to less than 80 products in my stash... I don't want to turn back now!

I haven't bought the Elemis TSV as the only item I don't already have is the bath milk, I would like to try that but buying just for that would be very silly.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Just lost a post
I don't know what's the matter with me at the moment but after pledging a good month before Christmas and the sales, I don't seem to be able to stop buying! I don't know if its because the stash is small now that I'm building it back up, as its definitely something of a comfort blanket and I like having things around, more than I actually need! It also might be down to being constantly bombarded with emails for sales and discount codes.... Not ready to go cold turkey and unsubscribe, too scared of missing a good offer!
Mind you, today's little purchases were MSE in money terms but I didn't need them at the moment, I just saw them and I know I like them! So Original Source Lemon & Teatree shower gel and Shea Butter and Honey Handwash - saw them in Poundland, probably only saved £1 on the price between the two from Boots etc but as I say they were just there...
Did have a surprise UU earlier, L'Oreal Elnett Heat Protection Spray, was vaguely aware this was running low but it started to splutter today and was difficult to get last bit out so poured that into the next bottle. HG, love this its so effective and smells really nice, just dangerous if used in a room with a hard floor, turns it into an ice rink, I do not exaggerate on this one!
Been doing a bit of online Christmas shopping while I seem to have the urge to splurge! New Look have 25% off everything until midnight if that's any use to anyone, discount codes on their FB page x0 -

One, it was a huge wake up call to see it there in black and white  and two it helps me to have a list to cross off things as it gives me a sense of achievement. You're in good company here if you have an embarrassingly large stash, personally I post it to try and keep myself on track.
Here it is if you want a look :eek::eek:

With the additions, don't beat yourself up, even if you give in half the time, that's still only buying half the stuff you would normally have bought!Welcome to the thread x
Welcome, Babafette, I couldn't face listing everything either, but I did count what I had. It helps to see the countdown - I feel I'm getting somewhere. It doesn't weem to work for my weight though!
I actually do already have a stash list just to keep track of what I've got, but I would never post it unless I start to get through it all faster! Perhaps I may post parts of it in future to spur myself on......
I've been cleaning my bedroom a bit today and have been gathering together bits and pieces for my own Project Pan. I'll try and post a photo of the items later.Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician....0 -
1 UU and 1 TA today....
UU - Pecksniff's Eau de Parfum in Fig 30ml WNBA - bought this blind, online in a sale, hoping it would be similar to the v expensive Pomegranate Noir - it wasn't! Way too fruity for me.
TA - I Love... Vanilla & Ice Cream exfoliating shower smoothie 200ml WNBA - fell for the Philosophy style packaging and I love the scent of vanilla but this smelt so artificial and sickly, it wasn't for me. Was okay as a scrub, nothing special but couldn't wait to wash it off due to the smell. Got it in Poundland so don't feel too guilty for binning it.Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

VALM
I put a few things in the basket on the Nail Polish Direct site, but didn't check them out and I am undecided about the Elemis Christmas TSV, it is really good value, but a) I have plenty of most things put away and b) I think that there is an Emma Hardie special due and if available would buy another 200ml of the Moringa Cleansing Balm.
I've been taking stock of beauty items I have not used for ages and my nail polishes today. I've thrown away a few items : Leighton Denny Manicure Spa Lotion: this was useless and I'm fed up of trying to get along with it, Smashbox lip liner : just don't use them, Laura Geller eyeliner in bone colour : pointless. I also got rid of a lip crayon that came in one of the beauty boxes and a bottle of OPI Liquid Sand called Stay the Night both of which Emma has rescued from the bin.
Re: my nail polishes I've pulled out some older ones in the hope that I can UU them before they go gloopy. Am now wearing OPI Elephantastic Pink which I love and I think has become part of the Classic range so can repurchase when it's gone.
Someone posted about Crows Toes Heatless before and having now googled it find myself wanting this. I do prefer the glitter top coats to the shatters and liquid sands.I haven't bought the Elemis TSV as the only item I don't already have is the bath milk, I would like to try that but buying just for that would be very silly.
MrM has ordered me 4 of these so that I have a stock pile of PCMC for next year. The only product that I'm a bit blase about is the cleanser. Will give it a go but if it's anything like the Melting Cleansing Gel I won't get along with it. Am looking forward to trying the new milk bath and so today have shopped in my stash and taken out a bottle of Nourishing Milk Shower Cream ( of which I have 3 x full sized bottles left).
I have also given some items from my stash to Emma for gifts for her friends and so also OUT are : 4 x Boots Extracts body butters (50mls each). I still have 2 x TBS 200ml tubs of body butter in there. I also gave her 2 x Nip and Fab lip butters. The lip balm I have on the go at the moment still has tonnes in it so whether I'd get to use these before they went off I don't know (got these in the Jan sales).
I've started using the Organic Surge moisturiser today but not sure. It smells funny and is very thick. Will see how it makes my skin feel in the morning.
Will also be giving away a Liz Earle hand cream I have in the stash on Wednesday as it's a work colleague's birthday and I saw that she was at the end of her tube of hand cream. Sadly my Secret Santa doesn't enthuse about beauty products so can't relinquish any more. Think I may get her a snood from Primark instead as we are only spending £5.00 each. I got one yesterday and it is so snug!!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend folks. I'm now going to join MrM downstairs, watch some telly and drink some vino. xxBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

OPI is my absolute favourite polish brand and I do love Stay the Night.

I'm currently wearing Washed Ashore by Hare Polish. Don't Google it if you're a sucker for sparkles like me!Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician....0 -
I've been watching a TV series set in the 1940s and really in love with the lovely hairstyles. I'm now in a phase feeling jealous of those people that seem to have perfect hair with minimal effort, which is usually when I will go buy lots of hair products I'll never use. Must resist! There must be a secret behind getting lovely sleek locks without a hair stylist though, I just have to figure it out...0
