We have heat but still no hot water.
Didn't want to traipse upstairs with a kettle so had to do with a micellar water cleanse this morning. Only got the free sample last week but was thankful for it as all my other cleansers require water.
How I missed my hot cloth cleanse...Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

My tummy is so sore today, muscles feel really tight - serves me right for telling my PT I wanted to blast my abs eh? Still, it's a good pain as it means the exercise is producing results. You'll get hooked maddiemay, I always feel amazing after a workout - that'll be the endorphins I guess!
Anyway, back on topic...
I have another PP UU:
12. Sanctuary facial cleansing oil 125ml - probably WNBA, I'm not sure an oil cleanser is for me, and always felt like there was some residue.
Had my makeup trial today and the MUA was fab - my eyes especially look AMAZEBALLS! Stand out products (and planned INs for the coming months) were a gorgeous Chanel shadow stick (need to find out the colour) and a really beautiful Chantecaille lipstick which looks more like a gloss (but with none of the stickiness) and feels just like a balm. The colour is very wearable so think I will invest in a full size in readiness for the day, though she'll give me a pot for touch ups. I won't wear either of these items before w-day though as I want them to feel "special" then - silly, I know.MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -
Last ins for the year hopefully:
Revlon eye brows pencil
Sally Hansen Crackle overcoat nail polish : Couldn't resist was in Poundland. Experimented with it last and it gives a distressed Denim jeans effect over your nail polish. Will have to be experiment more with the thickness of the coat for the right effect.0 -

Sounds like you will be around for another 6 years then??!! :rotfl:
Finally I UUed the small tube of Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturiser last night. It would have lasted another day but I was sick of it so put three applications on. My face was a bit sticky this morning. Have got a pot of Organic Surge moisturiser out to use next as night cream.
My Elemis eye cream will be next on PP to go I think as it was making phut phut sound last night when I pumped it. That will leave me with 2 remaining items on my PP list : Cutex nail polish remover (probably still another 2 weeks' worth left) and Elemis cleanser which is now upside down and I'm unscrewing the pump to remove the product from around the neck of the bottle.
Now that I've got this far I think I'll revise my PP and put more products on it to aim to UU by the end of the month now that we are half way there.
So here goes - new PP list:-
Cutex nail polish remover
Elemis Eye Renewal serum
Elemis Lime Blossom Cleanser
Elemis Gentle Rose Exfoliator
Decleor Herbal Clay mask (have obviously been using this more than I usually do as a tube usually lasts me a year and I bought this for my birthday in February)
Boots Extracts Honey Body Butter 50ml
Lush Porridge soap
No 7 Hand Cream
Origins eye cream
Mark Hill straigthening serum.
Benefit Bad Gal Brown Mascara
Have been shopping this morning with Emma and picked up a copy of Cosmo with the sparkly Orly bottle freebie.
No real plans for the rest of this weekend. Seeing some friends later and then doing nothing at all tomorrow (apart from usual housework). Am out twice at the MEN this week though. Seeing Queens on Stone Age on Wednesday (MrM's choice, not mine) and Mickey Flanagan on Friday which I'm really looking forward to.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I put a few things in the basket on the Nail Polish Direct site, but didn't check them out and I am undecided about the Elemis Christmas TSV, it is really good value, but a) I have plenty of most things put away and b) I think that there is an Emma Hardie special due and if available would buy another 200ml of the Moringa Cleansing Balm.
OH and I are on "leaf clearing duty" today, the downside of having lots of beautiful trees in our and our neighbours' gardens is an excess of leaves to be gathered:eek: I think this will add to the aches and pains and require another hot bath and pamper later, all good news for the body lotion/butter overstocks:D
I have decided that my PP list will only comprise things that have been lurking and are a bit unloved. to make me use them in preference to the "nice" things, after all they will give the desired results and haven't gone off or anything. It is great to see others ticking theirs off, I have a few more things to add so I thing it will be rather a LHJ.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. 2UU:
No7 Mink eyeshadow - bought this 2 years ago, it was nice, but took so long to get through, I am now a little sick of the colour. I wore it nearly every day too.
Dove intensive conditioner - a little bit too strong for my fine hair. I think it's meant to be a once a week product anyway, but that also meant it lasted far too long. I used it up as a shaving lather to get through it.0 -
As it's been a long while since I used to post regularly, I thought I would introduce myself properly.
I readily acknowledge I have a problem hoarding toiletries and I have slowly been trying to tackle it. I have a particularly large collection of shower gel, conditioner and moisturiser and I have a huge range of nail polish, plus lots of different toiletries and cosmetics, most of which I rarely use and some of which are years old. I also have a weakness for sparkly make up and pretty palettes.
The amount of stuff I have accumulated over the years makes me feel anxious and my stash just seems neverending. :embarasse I am too ashamed and embarrassed to list everything I have in my cupboards on here and would be mortified to actually take it all out and confront it head on. However, although I still can't resist a great bargain, I rarely buy much any more so at least I don't have many new additions these days.
I am comforted by the fact that I am not alone and hopefully this thread will help me to stay on track and keep using up my goodies.Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician....0 -

I didn't do a list either, but found by sorting and storing things by type, i.e. hair care, facial stuff, shower gels, body creams etc. that I more easily resist buying "bargains" because I know pretty much what I have and what I will be bringing into use next, now I feel the need to buy stuff much less and am actually enjoying "shopping my stash"
I have more nail polish than you would find in many retail outlets, but they are my acknowledged treat, I rarely drink alcohol (makes me ill), don't spend much on entertainment, only ever buy a magazine if there is a super freebie and I love colour around me, but don't paint or do any exciting crafts, so np is my little fix.
Keep dropping by here and hopefully you will find the use ups growing and the IN's getting even less:DThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Some planned INs whilst I could get them for a £1!
Right Guard Xtreme Dry
Timotei vivid Colour shampoo x 2, 90p each in Wilkos, bargain:money:Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0
