I am sure Wiggy can handle a bit of debate - and no-one is getting upset or heated are they? its an exchange of views - which is what people do every day! we have all been very civilised and amicable. or have I missed something?

Ooooh yes, please come back later Wiggy.

If nothing else, we need to know how we should refer to your furry friend.

    Is it:
    "Waggy",
    "Wigdog"
    "Wagdog"
    "WigWag Dog"

    .......or perhaps something else?

Quite frankly the way some posters have behaved today I wouldn't be surprised if Wiggy never returned to the thread -and I wouldn't blame her.

A suggestion to certain posters...... when offering support -insisting that you would have handled it better/differently with hindsight is easy but neither kind or useful and not supportive.

This is really very unfair. All that's happened today is that a couple of us have disagreed with the general point of view. I think we've done so in a calm non-argumentative manner.

If the 'suggestion' in your second paragraph was aimed at me, the only reason I stated what I would have done differently was because I was asked directly. And it wasn't hindsight - I did suggest it at the time.

But we should drop this now. We've pretty much done the discussion to death today.

    Completely agree with you Lannie.

You haven't behaved badly today and neither have I, or are we not allowed to have a difference of opinion??if I have upset anyone then Im sorry but I stick by the words I have been writing today.

The original point of this thread was that Wiggy-woo asked for HELP in dealing with her mother and sister - not opinions.

Each and every opinion voiced on this thread is valid - but in reality - how many are HELPFUL to Wiggy-woo?

Opinions could be voiced on another thread completely - without devaluation xx

I second this - Please do not turn this tread into an argument for the sake argument - that is not in any way helpful to Wiggy.

Hi I'm ok, must say those posts theorising on situations did not help, that's not going to happen and I don't need to hear it. This isn't a film, it's real life. .

Above one of wiggys post from earlier on in the tread. This still aplies, so please dont use this tread to argue.

Wiggy I too have followed this tread and your tread from the beginning of the year, and you have come a long way already.

In a few years time you will be able to look back on and see that yourself.

I wish you a happy for Christmas for you and wiglet and waggy.

Remember that Christmas spirit does not cost anything. Christmas spirit is reading Christmas stories out loud by a candle, its a walk to see Christmas decorations in a shop window, and singing silly Christmas songs together or decorating the windowswith paper snowflakes. My children are 15, 12 and 6 and the things they remember are the tings we did together, that did not cost anything.

Sorry, but you are coming across as 'whining' now! you were both listened to and everyone was polite and explained why we advise as we do. now you are coming across like Wiggys mother - its all about 'YOU'.
You have both had your difference of opinion and its been discussed nicely - now you are whining - and it isn't attractive. you are coming across badly now.
