I am sure Wiggy will update us when she is ready, and able to do so.0

Thanks everyone. Went fine, the lady was really nice. Wrote a statement with all the texts in, I signed it and she listened to whole situation. Took ages for her to write them all down! They will arrest her, interview her and then will go to further serious actions if she continues to contact/visit. Said they key was not something they could do really. I think the arresting bit will be a bit of a surprise! It may take a while to process to there though as there are lots like it waiting. Hopefully should be soon!Up and onwards to the future!

Wiggy thank you for updating us. Must have been hard and draining for you, so nice of you to come and post.
I hope you are pleased with the outcome?0 -

Well that's something she won't be expecting! Maybe now she will leave you and the Wiglet alone!
Now bed, young lady, and have a lovely day tomorrow with Wiglet - and enjoy Christmas x0 -
I am surprised they are going to 'arrest her'. but then we don't know how she reacted when they saw her before after her banging on your door etc. But, it proves that they are taking this seriously. and that you are not making 'mountains out of molehills'. as we have been telling you hun, she is seriously out of order and the police just confirmed it!0

Thanks for updating wiggy, the police are upping the anti now, get a good nights sleep and remember tomorrow is another day, sending you lots of (((((hugs))))) xxTreat other's how you like to be treated.
Harry born 23/09/2008
New baby grandson, Louie born 28/06/2012,
Proud nanny to two beautiful boys :j
And now I have the joy of having my foster granddaughter becoming my real granddaughter. Can't ask for anything better
UPDATE,
As of today 180919. my granddaughter is now my official granddaughter, adoption finally granted0 -
Thanks for updating.
One thing to bear in mind next time you worry in any way about your "mum" having any right to wiglet - she's being arrested. No way can she persuade anyone that she should have wiglet (not that she could have anyway). Result! :j
Now relax and look forward to Christmas. Things are looking up for wiggy and wiglet.. . .I did not speak out
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me..

They're going to arrest her? Seriously? Is that not going a little far?
They didn't arrest her back when she tried to kidnap wiglet (IIRC they attended, so would have been in a position to arrest her then had they deemed it appropriate). But now they're going to arrest her for sending some texts asking to see her grandson?Mortgage when started: £330,995

Well. She's been asked to stop harassing the op and she won't.
It's not just texts asking to see her grandson. It's harassment. If I were the op I wouldn't want her or the sis within 1000 miles of the child
And what the police do is up to them. None of us know exactly what's going to happen over the next few weeks.
Again, we are all entitled to an opinion but I don't think given the time the op has had with her mum over the years we all need to ponder whether the police are or aren't doing the right thing.
If speaking to the mother means she stays away then it's a good thing.
And even if she is arrested, its not the same as being charged. Hopefully she'll get a wake up call before it does get to the stage where she ends up being charged with breach of the peace or any other crime.0 -
Lannie - they are going to arrest her not for asking to see her grandson but for disregarding a lawful request to cease the harassment. Don't mistake wiggy's mum's behaviour as legitimate concern for her grandson. It is bullying and harassment plain and simple. If she were a concerned grandmother she'd be giving wiggy support to ensure her grandson is happy not embarking upon a campaign to separate mother and child. Her behaviour is not normal and is unacceptable, as demonstrated by the next step of arresting her.
As previously said this is a very positive step that will seriously undermine any credibility she has and will make it very difficult for her to take any formal action in the future. She has demonstrated that she cannot adhere to a lawful instruction (the harassment letter) and therefor cannot be trusted to stick to any formal agreement re: wiglet.
Well done wiggy. Stay strong x0
