as the others have said Wiggy, a solicitors letter has no more legal standing than a letter written by Joe Bloke! even if you do get one don't worry about it! its further proof of harassment!
I hate the way she words things too - its all about her and her supposed relationship with Wiglet! you seem to just be the stumbling block to her having him to herself! horrible nasty woman!
  • Hi I phoned the 101 number for police, spoke to the officer and sending around an officer this evening in an hour or so to help. He said 'to resolve the issue'- please don't tell me this means he thinks I'm wrong and just need to allow contact?

What should I do now to prepare? I'm so worried they'll take her side and think I'm being silly!
Up and onwards to the future!

  • To resolve the issue in your favour Wiggy. Chip up, you've coped with much worse.

The police cant suggest you give her contact, they dont have the right.

You dont need to do anything to prepare just say you are being harassed on an ongoing basis and show the texts and say that youve already sent a lawyers letter asking her to stop contacting you and if they dont know already, let them know she tried to abduct your child

She has no legal rights to see your child, she hasnt a leg to stand on.

I think the mum knows that the issue with the child will worry the OP, constantly going on about access, she knows what shes doing.

Oh and ask them kindly to go to her door and ask her and your sister to stay away from you and your son.

And get them to ask for your front door key at the same time.
  • An officer is close by so is coming now to save trip later. Fingers crossed it goes well. Worried I won't be able to express myself right.

Have a glass of water and if you feel yourself getting muddled or stressed then take a sip and that will give you a moment to think.

Have you been keeping a diary you can show them or if you have time write down a brief time line.

Keep it all factual. These are your concerns, this is why, this is what you've done (sent the letter etc), but that once again. Tell them about your mother turning up before and you having to call the police and that you need to know what to do next to stop the unwelcome contact and protect Wiglet.
