  • It's interesting when you write on a forum everyday to see your emotions go up and down like a yo yo! Today I felt a bit down, and went out to get paracetamol and medicinal chocolate to the tune of £1.85. Realised that I had forgotten green veg in my supermarket shop so had to go out and get that, and bought mrs crimbles macaroons (my one weakness! Oh and chocolate!) as well for £4.20 in total. Oh dear. Never mind tomorrow is another day - off to the aquarium tomorrow with our merlin passes (last years christmas present) which should be fun!

Fmess You scuba dive, don't you? Do you know the best place to sell kit you no longer want? We have fins, booties, bags, bcd, regs - the whole kit and kaboodle really. I was thinking of gumtree, but also wondered if ebay would be better. I confess I am a total ebay virgin as regards selling. And buying! I get dh to bid!

NSD 10 today - finally made it into double figures. :j

Tomorrow will be a nsd too. I want to make my jam labels, sort out dd's my little ponies while she's at school and maybe post some for sale on fb/netmums, read my latin book (studied it decades ago at school and am amazed it's still the same textbook!) and book myself onto a training course for work.

Today I am grateful :) for: students who make me laugh, colleagues who are simply lovely, a dd who cries out 'mummy!' when I get home and rushes for a cuddle, NOT sliding the car on the wet leaves into the one in front as I parked downhill on a steep slope, batch cooking.

purplejay i also wanted to say i hope everything goes well with your operation in December.

Our weekend away at a friend's house got cancelled. Not too sad about it as my budgets are empty. But OH might now invite his brother and GF over for dinner one day. Still cheaper than going away. We'll see.

  • Teehee.. I sometimes get mixed up with Fmess and Fyggy...

Well the excitment for me this evening.. Moggy doesn't go out at night and if she does it's a very swift run around the garden and cause it's so cold she is straight back in within five minutes. This time she HAD A MOUSE IN HER MOUTH... ALIVE!! I kicked her straight back out and the dog was getting a little excited so I think she wanted to protect her prise!!! She dropped it outside and it squeaked in fear so I grabbed her and brought her back in.....Phew!! Mr Mouse escaped and no blood and guts in the house for me to clear up.......

She still thinks she is getting back outside.....

Anyway.... dilemma at the store today sorted. £95 of the voucher/store credit spent on a trench coat that I have been looking for for ages. Always refused to buy one because of the price but seeing as nothing in this store is below £50 I thought I might as well spend it on something worth while...

Still have £60 left and they are showing no signs of closing down ( this is Lily Allens store by the way that was reported to have gone bust )...

Will be catching up on all the posts tomorrow... I spent my day trudging home, dyeing my hair, watching cr*p on TV and baking another banana cake. Slightly obsessed with bananas now!...

Off to bed for me...and naughty Mog who's huffing!!!

Onwards and Upwards Chickadees... tomorrow is another day!!!

    Hullo everyone

Just a quick check in after 5 days of bed to work therefore 5 SFD's accomplished! It's always during rest days that the temptation to spend creeps in like a creepy thing, so I'm safest at work and at a distance from my wallet! :D

Food supplies are still plentiful although I have run out of milk and Omega 3 fish oil so I predict a trip to the shops tomorrow. I will probably need to fuel up at some point because doing 6 more shifts before pay day on the fumes left in the tank is very likely to spell disaster.

9 more days 'til pay day and counting! :T

    Nighty night all
