wow 25 pages! unfortunately I don't have enough time to post everyday and def not enough time to read 5-10 pages of catch up everyday - sorry if I miss anything crazy important!

I had to do the office milk buy yesterday but rest of this week and weekend should be SFDs so quite looking forward to racking up a few in a row.

    have fun everyone!

Well SFD number 6 here too. Although my hormones are all over the place atm and I feel like everything is annoying me to ueber-happy. In danger of needing a treat esp since I feel really left out as OH went to the pub and had night outs once a week recently. Hate being pregnant, it sucks! (love the end result but hate the process) Gosh feel like a toddler trandrum is looming. But then I think of this thread and think nah, got no money in the house, can't be bothered getting any and want to make SFDs till Sunday. Onwards and upwards....

Oh and my contingency money is gone as OH needed money towards the tyres in the end. But hopefully the MOT will come in under and I can recoup some.

I hate being pregnant too, loved giving birth though and of course the end result. :rotfl:Take advantage of it by putting your feet up and watching some telly. If your other LO will allow it!

Thanks, wish I could sit comfy on the couch though, but my back is killing me this time. My office chair is actually more comfortable :rotfl:. Starting to get sick of watching telly though and "enjoying the peace and quiet" before the second storm at the same time have no motivation to o anything atm. Oh well I'm sure that'll will pass. Just want to be normal again. Sorry rant over.

Re making the 80 quid. That will be tough this month. Ebay is not doing too well and I doubt I find much more to sell (that is legal, got some nice pocket knifes but they are illegal to sell here) and the survey sites are slow so far. Well have to have another rummage.

Taking tomorrow off work, need some me time, so it may end up being a spend day...

Piggybankshaker - glad your mum is doing well after chemo. My dad starts it soon once his biopsy results come back. He's had radiotherapy this week, it's such a stress and a worry. Hugs to you xx

Clippy Girl used to have chewing problems with the house bunny, now become a garage/garden bunny. Pain in the the neck chewed my sky cable and skirting boards.

Well think I might be breaking the rules here but haven't spent any money on food so far this month so bought a dress out of that money pot. Well need a xmas outfit and at 27 pounds bargain. Food reckon I can still come in at 100 this month as my freezer is looking full still. Will put it in my food till Kat finds out eeek.

Made hot pot the other night, great suggestions folks, added dark soy sauce and brown sauce. Tastes wicked who needs red wine. Lots left so tea sorted next two days and scrummy beetroot to go with it.

Lovely sunny day here, off this afternoon so outside jobs getting done. No spending planned.
Traveller what is a 30 day shred? Have I not read back enough on here?
just curious is it a diet thing or heaps paper shredding.

    Have a good sfd folks

Does anyone else put petrol on credit card then pay month after? Is this a good idea or not recommended? Finally will be trying to earn £80 to add to debt busting pot (I did find 6p when clearing out my house so have at least started!)

I personally don't have a problem with putting petrol on the cc if it's paid off without incurring interest charges and you're getting loyalty points etc. For this challenge though I think petrol money should be budgeted and the cash is in an envelope (or jam jar ;)) waiting to make a purchase. Having said that, you should never put your safety at risk by possibly running out of fuel which is why putting petrol in the car doesn't count as a Spend Day. Do what you feel is right for you. Here's a suggestion, why not budget and use cash for this month, and if you haven't budgeted enough then use the card and then next month increase your budget.

Around these parts 'shredding' also means snowboarding ;)

I think the 30 day shred is a DVD workout (?)

30 day shred is also on youtube. It is a high intensity workout. Looks tiring just watching people.
    :p

Today is a spend day and boy what a day... last night I went through the morries website and looked at all their deals. Wow!!
So today I have bought a boot load of food including a whole chicken, some meat, biscuits and fruit/veg and it came to £38.56!! Should last a good couple of weeks.
    :D

They didn't have garden peas (birdseye as the tescimos own brand was awful so going to stick to branded peas) so off to tescimos where I bought peas and sandwich ham, and my mum's shopping. (there was only a few things). It came to £16.20

So total spent today is: £54.76
    :j

I know it sounds like a lot but I used to spend £100 in tescimos easily and still not have bought anything useful.
    :o
