Just did a bit of a fling round DH's bedside cabinet. Have to do it when he's not here or nothing actually gets thrown away. Why would you need an empty toilet roll middle, a 1989 diary (with nothing in it) and a sheet of newspaper with a space where something has been torn out?

Same reason as you'd need an empty yoghurt pot, 14 tags of new clothing, 2 screws and a banana skin probably.. that's what was on my husbands cupboard top recently!

WOW... my feet STINK.. may have to 'fly' them!!! BEFORE I am sick! *vomit*

No reason at all then Pigpen :D

What have you been doing to get such smelly feet? Or would it be better not to know...

Pigpen - probably not as bad as my shoes smell. They were removed from my feet last night and stuck outside on the canes where they are growing sunflowers at the front of the pub. Apparently it was putting people off!!! I did put bicarb in them last night and it removed some of the smell. Might was the insoles tonight....

Evening all :hello: We've had no internet for most of the day  Finally came back on at 2pm but it's taken me ages to sort out emails & stuff  Then I had to go and pick DD up from school after they're day trip to Chester Zoo - finally arrived 30 minutes late as usual for school trips :rotfl:

You would think that since I had so much time I would have got stuck in and cleaned house but instead I've tackled the paperwork and updating Excel files (some of which haven't been done since Nov  ). Even now I'm only half-way through so I best get on. Will be back flying properly tomorrow as OH is sleeping out tomorrow night at a colleages due to an event at school so I'll have the whole day to do stuff :D:D

    Right off to filing...

Pollybear, are we SHARING a DH?

Why would he also need 3 dishes full of unidentifiable (even to him) little bits and pieces, a bright pink mobile phone holder which has never been used, 2000 business cards from a job that he left about 20 years ago, a completly broken Walkman which wasn't his in the first place .... I can't go on. I'm beginning to frothh at the mouth.

And let's not even start listing the contents of the study, the spare (ha ha) room, the garage, the shed, the ..... aaarrrggghhhh

Isn't it knowing other people ahve husbands who seem to serve no purpose other than the odd cuppa and a regular income?? I swear mine was a paperweight in a former life.. or one of the afore mentioned useless mobile phone holders!!! lol

Re the feet.. i wore my shoes... but the shoes are in the other room but unfortunately I had to bring me feet in here with me... wonder if the shoes would die if I flung them in the WM... ??? Shall I try it?? They are leather.. :D

Yes they will die - bicarb idea sounds good - I might try that on DS1 trainers.

Rebelling today - I wanted to get downstairs finished so have been doing study/family room. Done all the cleaning and sorted paper work into piles so it is neater but the thought of doing all the paperwork is not appealing.

    Hello,
The sun is shining! Hurrah!! HopeElizzy, you're right, it is a very beautiful county when the sun shines. I'm in the Tyne Valley and don't really know the North of the county (I'm not from round these parts) but I'm off to Bamburgh next week for 2 days to 'gate crash' someone else's holiday. Looking forward to it.
Hugs to those who need one this evening and keep at it New Flypeople.

One washload on the line and another in the WM. Last nights dishes still looking at me. I must tidy the kitchen again before I can think about anything else.

My thrilling (for me) news this evening is that I've been offered another year on my rental here. I'm so relieved as I really love this little house. They've put the rent up by another £10 a month but it really is worth it. Now I can get a compost bin and redecorate the kitchen and ask if I can put a catflap in and plant some more things and..and.. a million things that make it my home. Sorry, I'm just so excited!

On that happy note I'm off to tidy up and hatch my plot.
    Have a good evening,
    Solway x

I've signed up to flylady, but I get sooo many emails, and none of them are like the list that lil_me has done with tasks for each day of the week, and I LOVE that idea
Am I doing something wrong? Will there be tasks for Thursday-Sunday as well.
    Please help!!
