    Debt-free and Proud!
    Evening Everyone,

I was crying laughing over the useless items that OHs hoard and the smelly feet, can definitely sympathise with both  - apparently my feet smell like a pile of warm hamsters!

Have had another busy (but much more organised - thanks ladies) day, but I swapped Wednesday's list for Thursdays as I want to change bedding in our room tomorrow for DHs return. :D Been on playgroup outing today with DS2 which was great and the sun shone for the first time in weeks. We have had either rain or a very persistent sea fret here for the whole of June I think.

The bathroom is gleaming and it took sooo much less time than last week or the week before, even had time to clean blinds and get all water marks/limescale off shower cubicle properly.

    Last night when I had just been posting about how the lists were helping me and not just in the cleaning/housekeeping department, I went into kitchen for my bedtime drink and this is what it says on the back of the Horlicks box;
"Write out all your worries and concerns on a piece of paper before you go to bed and say goodbye to them. Not only will this help you sleep easier - you can deal with them more effectively in the morning." So that's why printing the list from here and adding my dailies and other bits of 'to do' list to it has been helping so much! :rotfl:

Happy flying and a good day to you all for tomorrow.

Bucket loads of hugs for anyone and everyone here as there seem to be a few of us in need for a multitude of reasons.
    :grouphug:

    Short one from me today.
Just sat down with a cuppa after finishing our bedroom.
Got the lunches to do for tomorrow yet.
Went to the park with DS after school so home later than normal and after eating we had to go and do a mini shop as we've got friends and family to tea for the next 2 evenings.

Oh well better go and slap those sarnies together. Is it just me or does that sound a bit rude? :rotfl:

    Hi everyone,

    not a great flying week.

Monday - work, so minimal flying in kitchen.
Tuesday - work, longer, no flying, just dailies. Also felt yuk both days as ill on Sunday evening..
Wednesday - all day selling plants at an Open Garden. Caught the sun. Now have bright red arms and face. No flying. However, when I got home I threw a hissy fit at the state my two teenagers had left the kitchen in, and made them clear it up!

Working again tomorrow, but must get something done at home!

At this rate, Lil'me will have me blacklisted...

Well done to all the newbies! I waited until my children were all teenagers before I even thought about sorting the house, and I have been a stay at home mum, who did a bit of work only in termtime when they started school. Broke, but don't regret it in the slightest!

You're doing the best you can.

I have noticed a few people mention UKFlyLady but cannot seem to find it through google, does anyone have a link so I can sign up. It is a bit strange getting e-mails in the morning telling me to go to bed, and telling me to get dressed in the middle of the afternoon.

    Here you go

Though you still get lots of emails, too many for my liking as I'm at work all day so I stopped getting the emails and every so often go and take a look online.

Really sorry this one was so late, Thursdays list now up, tonight ended up being a little hectic then when I went to log in, internet playing up. My fridge freezers started playing up too, yes the NEW one grr!! Sister ran out of money and gas so had to drive over there and sort that out.

For those who sent messages about my friend thanks, unfortunately she didn't get to see her Dad, but appears he waited until she was in this country, he passed away at the same time she was getting off the plane. I'm going to see her tomorrow as they've been sorting funeral etc today, she's being brave as is her Mam.

The other reason tonight was busy is Megan the other dog arrived this evening so have been doing intros etc. More info and a piccy of her here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=5522094&posted=1#post5522094 excuse the mess, inc the drinks bottle my little nephew left to embarrass me :o didn't even notice it under the table until we took that picture. Yes those cases are the ones he's got until the morning to move, all club stuff, grrr!!!

Welcome to the newbies, I must get to bed as appointments galore here tomorrow morning inc 10 minutes and 3 miles between two of them, hmmm, we might be late. Will try to catch up in the morning/afternoon. Hugs to all.
One day I might be more organised...........

No idea why I'm up so early today, (finished sleeping I guess!) but I've got the WM on and I'll do my dailies before getting ready for work.

I've just been catching up with your dog tale, Lil_me, a happy end for her! And how lovely she recognised her handler. She does look like she'd give the other two what for though. And the small issue of 'the mess' in the photo.. Shocking.:rotfl:

Pigpen, you sound loads better. Keep flinging and you'll soon be flying again! Now I'm imagining you in a hot air balloon, how strange.

Tinselfairy, it sounded rude to me but inuendo is my kind of humour.

Everyone that's woken up fed up, have a hug.:grouphug:

    Morning

Yes Solway today is the longest day and my mum and dad's anniversary :)

Lil_me I would be ecstatic if that was the extent of my mess! The dogs look great, all of them hope they all settle together quickly.

Well w**k for me today and tomorrow so I shan't be around much BUT I have put the DW on this morning and DD and I sorted some of my floordrobe yesterday so progress of a sort!

Have a good one guys, hugs for those in need ;) and those those not :p

Morning all :hello: Tried my best to catch up with everything but my coffee hasn't kicked in yet :rotfl: So I'll go for a love0053.gif

I finally finished sorting out the paperwork about 11pm last night :o I did get distracted by TV a couple of times and watching Anthea as well (which is repeated tonight :j ) but I still have my household notebook to overhaul as it's a mess :o

OH is away overnight tonight (I'm expecting a sleepless night as I still get worried that someone is going to break in as the car's not there :o ) so no sign of him until about 5pm tomorrow;) Sooo I'm treating DD and I to pizza & garlic bread from Aldi with a strong chance that a tub of chocolate icecream may find it's way into the trolley as well :D

So my plan today is to drop DD off at school, go to Aldi straight away (who knows I might be there before they open up ....again :rotfl: ) then come back and attack the kitchen, livingroom, bedrooms...hell I'll going to tackle the house and then put a DVD on tonight and do all the ironing as well ;) Shouldn't be that bad either as mostly it's just a case of hoover, dust and wipe the windows over :j

Oh well, I better tackle DD's hair. I'll check in later

Good morning all, hugs to anybody that needs one.

I have got up in a really good mood and I am sure it is because my bedroom now has so much less clutter. I have not slept that well since... well I can't remember (I have a 5mo dd and 3yo ds so probably before I had the children).

For the first time ever, I have got up, showered, dressed and done all dailies before 9am. Thanks for all your support on here it really has helped a lot.

I am now just having a nice cuppa then (after seeing to the baby) I am going to tackle today's list. I am also hoping to do all the windows that I have not managed yet this week.

ShirleyPark thanks for the link, I have signed up and so far only two e-mails so not so bad....yet.
