    Good morning!

I love this thread, but I am going to ration how often I view it today.

I have had a baaaaaad week, and last night DH came in, took one look at me and suggested a takeaway :rotfl:

I think at the moment I need to scrape in below level one. So, today I have set myself some tasks.

Draw up a list of dailies
    Draw up a list weeklies
Write and post birthday card/new home card/father's day card (to be fair, he is still out of the country, and I bought his father's day present in April :) )
    Use the timer!
Actually read the magazine I bought on Monday!

So far emptied dehumidifiers, changed water in steriliser, bought 2 x 2litre bottles of dreaded diet coke but no chocolate, cuddled, fed and changed DS and thought loads of positive thoughts.

I feel that everything needs doing first! So, after reading how positive everyone is on this thread, I am going to try and prioritise, make lists and organise my thoughts. There, I've typed it, so I have got to stick to it lol.

And I'm going to plant carrot seeds - for someone as brown fingered as me, that is the most adventurous thing I'll do today (brown fingered - opposite of green fingered, plants look at me and die!)

And, to try and keep to my good intentions, I am going to log out and turn off the computer - less distraction from everything else :D

Fingers crossed for your dog, saversarn, but there is so much they can do nowadays that it can be really positive.

    Happy Thursday!

    Hev
    Always another chapter

I can't believe it is Thursday come round again already.. we have teacher training day tomorrow so will get nothing done..

For some reason there is a restriction on my ebay account which I am trying to sort out.. they suspended it yesterday for no reason and now this.. they are idiots!! And I have 65 things to upload.. and another half a million to list.. sigh... I may just transfer it all over to my other account if they don't stop being thick!

I have a pile of shirts to iron today as hubby has run out of them and a bed to change which was pee'd last night.

Rigth.. best start by catching a rabbit and stuffing it back in its cage... they keep escaping!!

Use this to clean your loo - tip it round the rim - don't flush for a while and it will come up sparkling and you will feel better - cut out the middle man so to speak:rotfl:

And I'm going to plant carrot seeds - I'd leave that job for a couple more weeks as there are likely to still be carrot fly around!Hev

Good luck for your day, the fact that you are writing lists is good Dusty x

I missed it but did a quick search and it is on BBC3 tonight at 7pm so I have sky plus'd it as I don't think DH will want to watch it.
  • I have washing powder now, so can catch up on the washing. First lot is already in the machine.

Quick question, how long can you really keep makeup once it's opened ? I know various people say something like 2 years, but should you really throw it away after that ? I have lot of old makeup and surely it can't be very moneysaving to throw it away.

    Todays list
    Clear any clutter from desk
    Clean bath, toilet and sink
    Dust PC and desk
Wipe keyboard and mouse (these usually have more germs on than your toilet so important)
    Clear clutter from floor

    Plus lots more DIY !!!!

My paypal is fine.. and ebay let me upload 1 thing .. fees are up to date.. I'll just go on the live help thing later if it isn't sorted soon and whinge like I did yesterday that gets things sorted PDQ I've found.

Re makeup.. I have a few bits I've had for years and still use occasionally. I give some bits to tweenage female rellies to play with.. they use it pretty quickly and it isn't quite like binning it.
