Hiya!
Polly, what a bleedin nuisance about your car. Some folk are just rotten.
Linda, WOOHOO! Full strike! Well done.
Hev, see, you're getting there, we said you would!
Nicki, best laid plans.. Hope you've dried off and decided to stay in 'jamas. Enjoy the ice cream.
AnW'smum, I get confused with longest day/start of Summer/Mid Summer. I shouldn't bother really but I like to know if I should be dissapointed by the weather or not!
I've already had a mega busy Flying day at work. I'm still trying to clear years of clutter from a large shed (think barn) and persuading folk to recycle is hard work but we've found homes for lots of kit. I'm working on my boss to try Freecycle but as it's government he's a bit wary. I'm trying to stop a dozen unused lockers going to the scrap metal man.
Anyhow, I'll tidy the bathroom and de-clutter the cabinet - I always seem to be using up stuff and never have any nice stuff out. Since it's paperwork day I'll do some filing and write a list of phone calls to make tomorrow. Dentist and vet and my landlord about me putting a cat flap in. Don't want to do any of them but I will.
Chicken fajitas for me, want them now! More like 8pm though.
Have a good evening, maybe pop back later.

Hi Everyone
What busy bees you have been, well done :T
I have been helping out at the local branch today and at times we were playing spot the customeranyway I dropped off the plastic recycling on the way there, picked up some flowers and called to see DH on the way home. Just as I got back in the car the heavens opened so I timed that well!
Picked DD up from afterschool club, DS from SIL and got back home to do spaghetti on toast for dinner. Both DD and I were too impatient to wait for anything else! DS had already eaten several times at SIL.
Shower now for me and then off out bellringing.
Have a good evening everyone and I'll catch up tomorrow night if not before.

Hiya
Only caught up with this thread and flying today but hugs to Katherine, it's such a sad time but sending my very best wishes. Sorry about your car Polly - how annoying!
Hello to everyone. Keeping everything on track here but only basic tidying. Still looks so much better than pre this site. xxJanuary budget

Great! I'm still allowed to post!
I have actually done some flying today, but probably not what was on the list - didn't dare switch on the computer this morning or I wouldn't have done anything else at all. I removed everything from the sittingroom which shouldn't be there - and put it all in the boys' room. Washed the main bedroom linen. Vacuumed downstairs.
Worked two hours - very hot today, and I was trying to keep my very pink arms in the shade! (I garden).
Shopping downtown, and bread and milk run to Sainsbury's. DS2 to hairdressers after school, and everyone now fed...
And now I'm having the rest of the evening off!It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
I've managed to chuck the hoover around and clean the bathroom sink and that's it.
We've had a friend round to eat with us this evening and she's here now reading bedtime stories to DS whilst I finish off the dishes and have a cuppa.
Will catch up tomorrow as finished work for the week. :j
Hugs and have a great evening everyone....it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

Hello all!
I appear to have fallen off the wagon. I keep spending my time staring at the baby and chatting to Owen instead of cleaning. The house is still not too bad, but I can feel the old habits creeping back.
Everywhere's tidy, but certainly not as clean as I'd like. I've been making scrapbooks for my babies and now the books and supplies are starting to take over!
I think I'll be joining you all full time again as of tomorrow. I can't promise though as I may end up whispering sweet nothings to Freya instead. She's just so gorgeous, I can't help myself.
She's ready for a feed again, so I have to run. I've just read Owen a book in bed, so he's down for the night, but my shift with girlie-girl will continue into the wee hours. I'm really very tired now. I'm sorry, I haven't read any posts at all, so I just have to hope that you're all well.
Take care, live happy. Mara x0 -
Maralum keep gazing at that baby, she will be tiny for such a short time - the cleaning will be there forever but she won't
Loved the Anthea program - watched it with DS2 who thought she was creepy! I was holyer than thou ironing my freshly washed curtains (first time in 2 years) whilst viewing!
Not looking forward to kids bedrooms so intend to go out all day shopping:rotfl:
See you all tomorrowThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
