i have done most of my list for today.. just need to find 25 things to list on ebay.. things must be improving because I am actually struggling to find things to ebay now... surely this is a good sign?? That or it means everything else in the house is junk and can go to charity shop or in the bin!! Either way we MUST be getting emptier..

DW and WM's and TD on..
Littlies eating toast for lunch.. it is what they asked for.

Best go find some more ebay gibble.. it can't be THAT hard the house is overflowing with junk!!!

Pigpen - Wow, you must have ebayed loads. I am just starting. How did you go with packing material, was it hard to pack stuff?

Boston uk - you must have a really butch postman, mine complains that the letterbox is stiff!

Polly - how is your car? Is it sorted yet?

    So far since last post:

    One hour's ironing
One bin bag in the garden
    Bottles in steriliser
    Washed up
    Cuddled DS
Fed & Changed DS (and cuddled DS again)
Drank tea instead of dreaded diet coke
Left feed back on ebay and didn't buy anything:j

Now, off to have a proper lunch and start again. I expect the bin bag count to rise.

BTW I use the same tea towels that Saint Anthea recommends! I use the microfibre checked ones and they are really, really brilliant. Got them from Lakeland and worth every penny. Wash and dry really easy, and when I actually dry something up they are brilliant!

    Hev

I have been ebaying anything that stood still for the last 4 years.. so it is all pretty routine now.

I have a box of packaging materials.. I save all the packageing matter I receive stuff in and reuse loads of that. I also got a huge bag of used jiffy bags from freecycle and another bag from a friend. I'll use anything so long as it is clean and secure and gets where it is going I'm happy. I have bought a few bundles of postage bags from ebay too.. they work out about 14p a bag so not totally unreasonable.. plus I add the cost to the P&P charge so it is covered.

Oh.. scrounging and skip raiding is also a must.. I got 3 binbags of bubble wrasp when a cafe got new chairs and skipped all the packaging.. saved me a bomb!!

    HTH..

hev - I'm waiting for a phone call from the recovery truck people to arrange to take the car away :(
  • oohps on the way back from puppy sitting today I stopped off at the petshop, and ermmmmm...... there was this really cute female rat all by herself, so she had to come home with me.

DIY is going slowly, mainly because I'm having to do lots of prep work, which takes time, though it is nice to be off work.

Still no flying though. By the end of the weekend I am going to ensure that I've tidied everything up so I can get back to flying next week.

    Afternoon all.

I popped home at lunchtime and did all my filing. Its amazing what you can achieve!!! I have the final statements through from when we all shared a house so i can hopefully finally close that bank account and its another thing off the list. Im also going to make a call to my landlady and see about getting some stuff done.

    I hope everyones doing ok.
Polly hope your car gets sorted soon.
Pigpen well done on the ebaying. Hope your feeling better.
Lil_me is your new addition doing ok?
    Hev glad your still going.
mamashaz - if your still here KICK from me :D
Mel - you seem to be doing rather well with the flylady lark!!
Nicki i know what you mean about the CRB clearance. Our Lifeguards have to apply each seaso0n for clearance in May, we sometime get it through before the end of the season in Sept, but usually not!!

Going to hopefully get some more paperwork done by the end of the day.

    See you all later.

Not so good - only one extra bin bag in garden. I got sidetracked by the net.:o

But I am drinking tea, which is a real improvement for me. There is a two litre bottle of the dreaded diet coke sitting next to me and I am resisting!

I have had a proper lunch, which is also an improvement for me and put stamps on letters. Another load of washing in as well. DS is cooing at the TV so the pink slug must be on again.

Okay, up and at em (again). Posting on here is a real incentive.

(Boston - I have deliberately avoided looking at the thread for home made Hobnobs, but are they as nice as they sound?)

Off to feed DS - he has just prioritised himself).

Getting there finally. Glad it is the end of the week, although for the first time in my life I have actually enjoyed doing housework this week.

Well I have almost caught up on all the things missed during the week. Just rescued 29 toys (so far) from under my bed. Still got a bit more to do but DS and DD are sleeping so did not want to make too much of a racket.

My sinuses are going mad now because I have wood flooring throughout the whole house so having to sweep the lot (mostly into the air though). I must admit some bits have not been done for quite a while, like under my bed:o . Think I just found a whole extra cat (I have three) from all the fur I have just found under the beds and stairs:o

Just going to have a rest now whilst the lo's are sleeping and make the most of the quiet. I am quite looking forward to DS starting nursery next year although I know I will cry when I take him, I am a sap.
