Lil_me, yes it was a lovely complement but I didn't think it was that bad before!!!!

Hey, things seem to be coming together nicely for folks, lots of really positive posts to read this evening. And lots of activity even considering it's Friday.:T
I've just had to shout at some lads of about 18 to ask before they climb into my garden for their football, (before they drove off in their car) and I'm still shaking. Not with anger but fear. I think they were more surprised at my outburst than me. Hope they don't come back! I freaked out one evening in the winter at a young couple doing 'the deed' in my back garden. 'Cos I'm next to the church people think I'm the vicarage so half the town's youth must now think 'that vicars wife's got a foul mouth on her'. Really shakes me up when strangers appear on my doorstep like that though.
Anyhow, compose, compose..
Tonight I will be mostly sorting the spare room/ cat's domain and I expect to find enough cat hair to weave a spare one too. (Glad it's not just me). I did ring the dentist today but not the vet or the landlord. Vet can wait 'til July when I've been paid. Fatcat is a stray/rescue and I need to start his jabs - No idea what his history is but I have seen one of his children locally..
I'm waffling now. Sorry. I'm off to Fly. See you when I land.

Hi everyone,
Yeh, it's Friday!! Started very slowly today, partly because I was tired after this week, and partly because it was raining.
So, nipped into shop to buy paper on way back from school run, and treated myself to a cup of coffee (AFTER the washing machine loaded and the washing up done - of course!) and a read. No jobs advertised this week.. Sent in an application form this week and fingers crossed that I get shortlisted.
Weekly shopping done, then another coffee, cleaned the cloakroom and bathroom, lunch, then a couple of hours on the allotment, as the sun had come out. Very nearly didn't get to the school in time, I was so absorbed in weeding!
I think the children can do their own rooms tomorrow.
Have a great weekend everyone - and very well done to all the newbies, who are doing fantastically well!It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Hiya everyone
Today we've totally gutted and rearranged the living room and the conservatory so two rooms are perfect ready for next week. I really want to get our bedroom totally sorted as those are the two rooms i'm planning to recuperate most it. Best of it is, my husband sorted both rooms today and he's done a pretty good job though the dining room and kitchen have lots of 'stuff' in that he couldn't find homes for. Need to work on that. Have a lovely weekend xxJanuary budget

I have made inroads into the girly room.. filled a wash basket with stinky clothes, filled a carrier with wet stinking nappies from my 6 year old and 2 carriers of rubbish and sorted a bag of clothes for nursery plus a few ebayable bits. DS1 was bribed 20p per item for everything he could find out of his room to get rid of.. I now ahve a binbag full of carp and am £5 lighter in the purse.. he would have got the money anyway but the mess would have remained on his bedroom floor.. just don't tell him that! Just got to get some bits out of DD1's cupboard next she has loads which doesn't fit and I can't buy them stuff that does seeing as I don't know what they have already
I have a huge bag full of stuff which I am about to list on ebay.. mainly large boy stuff and whatever else I've managed to scrape together... let's hope it is enough to drag the total to 100 items!!
DW needs loading..
WM's are both on..
BM is on
TD is on
AND... 2 of the childrens beds are clean... only 6 more to do!!!
DS1 needs his duvet washing too.. might do that in the morning.. depending on the rain.. or lack of it!!
Sigh.. I wish I was utterly lazy like I was in the olden days!

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Woke up horribly early and did two (yes, TWO!) hour's worth of ironing - yuk  At least the ironing basket is empty now, so it's one less thng to have to hide in the garage whenever we have viewers round to look at the house.
Was planning on going to the gym and then blitzing kids rooms, but as DD was poorly we had to scratch that idea. Also planned to get some gardening done, but as it's been chucking it down here most of the day, so I made popcorn and watched "The Lion King2" with the kids instead. Tough, but someone had to do it.
We accepted the offer on our house today, so hopefully we'll be moving in a couple of months. Loads of planning to do and lists to make!! Watch this space!
Have a good weekend all.You only get one go at life, so grab it where it hurts, shake it hard and get everything out of it you can!0
