We've had lunch and cleared up now and while the oven was on I made a Victoria sandwich and some muffins. No eggs or flour left now until the shopping comes on Tuesday so they will have to last.

Washing all dry and put away, the sun has come out here and it's breezy, much better than I thought it was going to be.

I could put the vacuum round - but I'm not going to :D

I'm posting on here because I am absolutely determined to get with it, and this is the best place I can think of to get motivated :D

So far today, have spent far too much money. First of all the dreaded Diet Coke, another 2 litres bits the dust. Then bibs for DS because I can't keep up to washing the ones he has :o, non chocolate treats for me (not necessarily healthy, but hey, breaking the habit !), books I didn't need etc. Sigh.

However, didn't buy everything I was tempted, and I came home with less than a crate load of stuff for DS, so could be worse.

Last spring we were getting quotes for new windows. I came home to the usual tip one Friday to find DH had arranged a sales rep to call on Monday. Not one room in the house was fit to be seen. :o:o:o:o

So, I started Friday night using a tip from the FlyLady's book. I worked 15 mins in one room, 15 mins in second, 15 mins in first, 15 min break. That house was in pretty good shape by Monday evening (though I was a complete wrecki :o)

So, needing to move soon, I'm going for a similar target, except since DS my joints have been absolutely wrecked and I am not quite as energetic. I also need/want to finish a cross stitch picture for my Uncle who visits Monday (and who, bless him, would never comment on state of house).

So, first fifteen mins at top of house then fifteen mins cross stitch then fifteen mins bottom of house then fifteen mins cross stitch.... We are starting from a baseline of absolutely tearing my hair out. But if I know I will be coming back to post on here later, it will be an incentive to keep at it!

Poor DH is poorly, but will be keeping an eye out for DS, so I have a good chance to really fly!

Weathers improved, for now at least. Don't know what I prefer no power but rain so everywhere is quiet or the person few doors away with all their lot and friends drinking and shouting on! I think I want the rain back, clouds looming so fingers crossed because they're getting on my nerves (probably because I'm tired aswell so annoyed easier) and if it stays nice they'll be out all evening.

DP gone to work, my lovely mother is coming over tomorrow, haven't seen her for a couple of months but of course it's coming up to her birthday  she doesn't usually just 'call over'.

Right, got not a lot done so far, just really can't be bothered, must however get something done so I can do some more studying when I get the boys to bed. Will start by making ther dinner (oven heating up now) then once that is done etc I can do the kitchen and it'll stay ok. Oh need to clean the vacuum cleaner out aswell as it's making a weird noise!
One day I might be more organised...........

    Afternoon all

Not acheived a huge amount but have finally got round to waxing (sugaring - with body shop stuff) my legs. OH and DS1 and 2 have gone camping and I insisted their rooms were tidy before they went so I could hoover them - not done yet!

    Have
Washed uniforms - one lot dried
made spag bol for next week
put away yesterdays washing - remembering to pout

Went to town with DS3 to the shoe sale - really lucky got heavily reduced shoes and trainers :D - forgot purse:mad: - came home, went back, paid for shoes - came home - one box has DS old trainers and no new ones! went back to town to collect said trainers - gave me free tube of trainer cleaner:D

Fortunately noticed the police with a speed camera so did not get a ticket.

Right need to get ready for street party now. See you all tomorrow x

:rotfl: they all got wet, suddenly the heavens opened, there is still one car outside that has windows and sunroof open aswell. Sorry shouldn't laugh at others misfortune but if they'd kept the noise down which was winding DS1 up, I wouldn't have minded so much and might have even offered a brolly :p

Dusty hope the weather stays nice for the street party :) sounds like you've had a right day of it.

I spent as much of today as possible out of the house.. ok so that's not entirely true.. I'm home now and I didn't have to be.

I have done 3 dance class runs, a tesco shop.. the big tesco has become really crap since the little express ones opened.. and that's it.

Best get the grubs in bed.. have some food.. and make myself gorgeous to go out... I was really brave last night and wore my 3 hour shoes again.. they look darn good.. lol.. or maybe I am just biased because I love them!

    What's for tea then?

bread and catch it for tea here pigpen. I am totally fed up and could cry. I was cleaning the oven (well trying to ) and I heard dripping but couldn't figure where from. Thought I had not mopped the work surface properly but when I looked closer I realised it was coming from the dishwasher :( pulled it out and found that the floor over about half the kitchen is soaked (hadn't realised cos of the lino) looks like it has been leaking for months, got a couple of small mould patches under the dishwasher. Which explains why every now and then I got a whiff of stagnant water. I thought it was the drains and treated the sinks and drains which seemed to sort it. Now I see it wasn't the drains at all.

So girly shopping trip with DD is off tomorrow looks like I will have to get mum and dad to help me sort this mess out rather than looking ofter DS for me.

The only good thing is I pulled the fridge out and everything was ok there so I hoovered (the cooling grills at the back) and wiped it down and put it back.

Could do with some positive vibes, I really want DH back.

positive vibes streaming over to you. I can't think of anything truly helpful to say ... of course you want OH back. It wouldn't be right if you didn't. But you are a really strong woman and you will cope. Lots of love

Oh, AnW'smum, a virtual hug isn't enough when c**p like that's going on but it's all I can send you but you can have ALL my positive vibes this evening since you asked first. I hope you get the practicalities sorted tomorrow and you get the real hugs you're needing.

Big bowl of Nachos and Dr. Who for me Pigpen. Yey for 3 hour shoes though! Have a good night out.

I'd've felt the same Lil_me; intrusive noise when you need calm drives me crackers. Hope its staying dry for Dusty's street party though.

I feel like I've done a fair bit today but it's all kind of intangible. I know it's done though. Going to have my girly pamper evening tonight and I fancy a filum but there's nowt on TV. I'd go out and rent a DVD if I wasn't so grubby looking. I probably smell too..

If I'm not back later have a peaceful or rowdy evening depending on your fancy.
