PHEW!!!... The last of my ebay parcels are now parcelled up ready to go.

I have washing on the line and in the dryer and in both WM's waiting to be dried when there is space.

I hvae the front room to find under all the mess now.. *sigh*

hubby is off on one again today.. not entirely sure what has triggered this paranoia but the wrath descends on me once again for doing absolutely sweet FA as always.. one day I will actually do something to justify this! Not to mention of course the fact DS1 is being a twerp.. he dumped his gf then got pee'd off when she started seeing someone else.. oh and of course being so old I don't understand.. lol... I may be driven to drink before 3pm again!!!

Pigpen aren't families great. My mother's decided she's going to visit today for the first time in several months. Hassle for me as sitting room is a mess, much worse than the pic I moaned about and the fact she's scared of the dogs (have warned her we now have 3) she always makes them worse by overreacting and screaming on if the puppy jumps at her, so will have to pop them out in their beds while she is here.

Trying to air the house out a bit but puppy keeps trying to jump out of the sitting room window (6ft drop outside) so keep having to close it. Silly girl.
    List for now

[strike]Make steak stew and put in SC, some sausages in for DS
    Clear dining table [/strike]
    Clear kitchen benches
    [strike]Clear sofa (laundry and toys)
Clean floors in sitting room and kitchen[/strike]
    Sort shoe dumping in hall
    [strike]Dogs out
    Dog snot off window again
    Wipe sofas [/strike]
[STRIKE]2 loads laundry to wash dry[/STRIKE] and put away
    [strike]
Sort through fridge for anything that needs using/freezing
    [/strike]
One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
  • Right the house is a total mess, for some reason whenever I go on a DIY marathon the entire house looks like a bomb site. So I'm writing down what I want to get done today so I can go back to work with the place atleast somewhat reasonable.

    Empty dishwasher - done
    Do washing up
    Wipe kitchen worktops
Put clean washing away - done
Make lunch for tomorrow - done
Tidy up the contents of the lounge that are in the kitchen into a neat pile - done
Sort out tools etc and put back into toolboxes etc - done
Caulk the side of the panel under the stairs - done
    Paint under the stairs
Measure under the stairs for shelf - done 61cm x 124cm
Fold up lounge curtains and store away somewhere clean - done
Finish off the last part of the lounge ceiling - done
Finish off filing in the old sockets in the lounge
Sweep the lounge floor - done
Dust everywhere in the lounge - done
Put all tools and decorating stuff away from the lounge, bathroom, landing, study - done
Collect all the plates and glasses from around the house and put in the dishwasher - started but need to empty dishwasher
Reseal the last bit of the bath - done
Tidy up the bedroom - done
Empty all the bins and put rubbish in the wheelie bin - done
Collect book from freecycle - done
Collect up all the things which need freecycling / listing online - done everything from study floor and storing 3 half boxes into 2 boxes
Check work email - so I know what to expect tomorrow
    Tidy study floor - done
Run the vacuum cleaner around upstairs

Right that should be enough, now to just shift by bottom from the sofa !!

AnW'Mum hope you are out and away for your woes for a time. You do so well but somethings are bound to make the loss of your DH even more painful. Heaps of hugs to you and yours.

Pigpen hope you are having a zero tolerence time with the grotbags in your house

Done my dalies and sat drinking tea with a neighbour. OH and DS1 and 2 just back from camping so will need to put on another wash of wet and muddy/smokey stuff.

Just going to do DS2's bedroom as he tidied it so well.

    See you all later

    Well done katherine :)

I've got the back grass cut and cut back a shrub that was trying to take over the world. Was going to cut the front next but DH is trying to set up spare room television/video to tape from freeview box and I've got to make cups of tea and make encouraging noises and be sworn at.....

Five whole hours or garden hacking, garden wheelie filled, one full carload to the tip and another one loaded in for when it stops raining. It was lovely 'til 4 and I just managed to get the washing in and tools put away and then deluge! Daft cat dashed out of the kitchen and straight outside into his little house to get out of the rain

I'm pleased with what I've done but I'm a long way off being finished. I'll just have to keep pecking away at it like I did inside the house.

Shirleypark, well done on the DIY-athon. Bet you'll be glad to get back to work! Lil_me, have fun with your mother and Pigpen, good luck with the grumpy men in your life! Witchypoo, give it a few weeks following this thread and you wont have any chaos to be embarrassed about!

It's letting up a little now so I best go offload this lot before I end up having to take it to work tomorrow.

    Hiya
Hope everyone's had a good weekend. I did the race for life with my 8 year old today. She did so well and i'm so proud of her. Most of the house is tidy ready for going in hospital. Every time I get up I just tidy up another 10 things. DH has just done a couple of adverts for selling DS's cabin bed and a couple of other things. We're just going to put them in the local newsagents and see if they sell. It'll get rid of some more clutter which is always good.

Uniforms are already clean for tomorrow and just need to change a few beds. Hope we all have a good week. Catch up soon xx

    Nothing left!
  • I'm so jealous of all of you who've been in the garden, it's done nothing but rain all day today
