Well yesterday was mega busy - but I did do all the bathrooms (my thursday task) up to level 3 ( apart from floors which are done today)

I been out in the rain this morning fixing the post box back on the gate - the postman yesterday forced it so hard he actually bent the bolt heads!! "It just fell off" he said .... yeah ... right .....
Now gently steaming with a cup of coffee in the study before I do the PO run. I finished my works emails - well as much as I can do and written to the bloke who didn't want to bid on a antiquarian book of mine on ebay which finished at no sale yesterday - and wrote with an offer of £1 less than the starting price. Think not.....

I dont seem to have that much luck on ebay but there ya go.

Anyway will do my Bedrooms list later when I've done something!!!

Take care all - keep flappin' !!!

    Morning all.

Back early from school this morning as no assembly to go to. DS and his class are off to a dance festival this morning which they were all excited about.

Had a mini piece of good news about adoption yesterday. Not getting excited as I know all too well how it can so easily go wrong, but it's nice to get a positive bit of news about it for a change!
Feeling in a more positive frame of mind today and ready to tackle DS's room which I've not really given a good going over for a couple of weeks.
Kitchen is a bit of a mess so will do that first after my cuppa and see how much I can get achieved today with this extra surge of energy I have.

    Have a good day everyone.
...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

    Morning all

Heavy showers here have brought the new family of song thrushes out into the garden. They spent ages dancing on the lawn and then listening for worms. Now they have found a huge slug on the the slate heading for the dahlias and are tearing bits off!

    Hallway
    Vacuum floor on landing

    Check fire alarms are working
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs wipe windowsill
    Wipe doors and handles

    Study
    Clean windows
Extra Mission Tasks, again pick any
    PAPERWORK - PTA

Finally Friday - those terrible kids rooms and spare rooms
    Level One
Put anything back in it's place that isn't where it should be
    Level Two
Strip beds, vacuum mattress and replace with fresh linen - only one left to do
    Level Three
Dust, make sure you get the tops of wardrobes/drawers
Vacuum Floor (even if it's just where you can see)
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors
    Declutter Mission Task
    Sort books in DS3 room

For those with kids or wear uniforms for work, try to get them in the wash tonight, mkes the weekend easier. Apart from the dailies and night time routines that's the lot for the week, of course if you still want to join us over the weekend you are more than welcome

FRIDAY EXTRA - Don't forget your ME time this weekend, wax legs and soak feet

Street party here tomorrow so hoping the rain will stop

Solway - off to do as you said - shop will do a bit later

Tinselfairy pleased you've had some good news, even if it's a mini piece, but I do understand after the let downs you have had you won't want to get excited too soon. Keeping everything crossed for you all.

Mamashaz I am sure you will do fine today, don't go OTT, these lists come back around so little and often I am sure you will get there.

Boston, ebay is the same for me lately, hope the post box is fine now, I've had a postman say my letter box cover 'just fell off' before!

Hev, good luck with the move, sounds like you will have your hands full.

Dusty hope you have fun shopping.

irishwexford, sounds like things are coming together nicely, saving money aswell, great!

Pigpen hope you find the missing jeans, I've only had that happen to me once where I lost an item :o

Right barely made a start. Have got boys off to school, done 2 loads of washing which are now handing out to dry. Dogs been out, chaos walking 3 at first so gave up and took the leads off. They all walk fine off the lead when it's just through the fields anyway. Dining table cleared, need to do brekkie washing up. Can't do much upstairs until after 11am when DP gets up.

    Here goes today for me

    Dailies
At least level 2 in boys room (after DP gets up)
    [STRIKE]
One more wash load at least then school 'reds' wash when the boys get home
Meal plans for next week and shopping list
Shopping for anything we need for over the weekend
Find a 'dogs toys' box, sick of falling over them
[/STRIKE]Call to cancel FF engineer as it seems to be behaving now
2 more dog walks, groom Megan again
Few hours OU study (must at least start this assignment today)
Tidy kitchen as it's been 'dumped' in
Sort out all the dry laundry and put away
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

Good for you, pigpen. It may be heresy, but cuddles are better than flying!

At end of fifteen minute timer so:

    Have emptied dehumidifiers
Sorted post and tried to pay bills online but site playing up.
    Fed and cuddled DS
    Re filled steriliser
    Put in load of washing
Belted up and down stairs (three flights in my house) to try and get things in right place
Put on hot water for cleaning
    Grumbled at the rain
    Smiled at my son
    Cuddled a cat.

    Back up and at em!

    Hev
    Always another chapter

I'm trying to fly today but so far I have no energy - could have something to do with only having a maximum of 3 hours sleep last night :o So far today I've had a bath & washed my hair (something I can only usually do of a morning at the weekend unless I want to get up at 5.30 to get in the bathroom before OH has to have his bath at 7am - so I can't have a bath running any later than 6am otherwise there isn't enough hot water for him  ), made DD's lunch/breakfast and packed her off to school, took my CRB form into school so they could enter the info on their system (it finally arrived yesterday afternoon - only applied for it in November!) so I am now legally allowed to "work" in the school :rotfl: Managed to get a load of washing in the machine before school, but I've still got wet washing from yesterday that needs to dry so currently a backlog

Plan for the day is the following list (crossing off whats already been done this week as well ;) ) which I'm just going to come back and edit as I go along (30 mins work then break I think ;) ). Glad I kept this list in a word file, no decluttering unless it's done as I clean and Antheas list can whistle today :rotfl::rotfl: Oh and for those who think I must be superwoman or something, I live in a small terraced house which is 95% decluttered so takes no time at all to clean ;)

Morning all (just about as I'm typing this!)

Downstairs vacuumed all through. Made stew today - feels a bit weird in June but it will be easy for DH to heat up tonight. Normally he comes home for lunch but as we have no car now........and I am at work when he gets home tonight.

Done one load of washing and draped it round upstairs, it keeps raining on and off.
