It's worth noting that the small 'other bag' is included in the 10kg weight allowance, not in addition to, so don't get too excited! :wall:

From the Ryanair website it states that :-
"One cabin bag per passenger* weighing up to 10kg with maximum dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 20cm, plus 1 small bag up to 35 x 20 x 20 cms."
I am assuming that you are allowed 1 x 10KG cabin bag plus the smaller bag (no weight specified)
    Can anyone clarify?
    Thanks JJ

I am going to invest in one of these small backpacks for my forthcoming trip with Ryanair :-
    decathlon.co.uk/C-819605-backpack-arpenaz-10
    Full pack dimensions (cm):- H 31 x W 20 x D 18
Cheap as chips and fingers crossed, should meet Ryanair's T&C's !

  • Hi, I've received notification that my Ryanair flight to Dublin will now be operated by air explore. Do the hand luggage rules still apply ie a 2nd smaller bag allowed as carry on luggage? Thanks

I think Ryan Air is 3rd class travel and would avoid using them.

Unless of course you want to fly from say,

Bristol - Beziers - from about £20 ish (no other carrier on this route)

Stansted to Rodez - from about £20 ish (no other carrier on this route)

London to Carcassonne from about £20 ish (no other carrier on this route)

Faro to Cork direct about £65 with Ryanair or on same date according to Kayak the next cheapest is £277 with 2 stops

etc. etc .etc. The same applies for hundreds of other routes

How many times have you actually flown with them?
