It's gone up on the grid with likelihood on the weather matrix, it was one below yesterday.
My partner still thinks it wont happen and we will have a lovely sunny jaunt on Monday with glassy water giving us a serene ferry crossing! We shall see.....Smoke Free since 1 January 20130 -

Don't forget your helmet, many of the ceiling panels fell out on my 6.5 hr Dover to Calais crossing a couple of years ago :eek:0 -
Garden prep done. None of this is wasted effort for me. If it passes by great, if not we're prepared. Preparation for winter is a wise thing to do anyway. Whether a storm is predicted or not.
I for one am very grateful for the tips and ideas shared here :TDeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Just been out to nail a few things down in the garden, getting a little lively out there already. Bit of a blustery day. Sky is going a bit dark too.0

My DH has tried to secure the building in our garden but it seems to be shaking a lot even today and one panel looks like it has cracked already as it's quite blustery out.
I went around the house collecting torches to put with the batteries and realised that we have 8 torches! You can never have too many in my book.:pmineallmine wrote: »

I'm in Bournemouth and apparently we are going to be getting it pretty bad down here.
I will be making sure that everything in the garden is secure and digging out the lighters and candles just in case. There is an elderly couple across the road so I will keep an eye on them and make sure they have what they need.
It's just wait and see now!Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j0 -

Here's hoping that it turns out to be a great big nothing, we can all do without the hassle.
I hope the met office is just acting with an abundance of caution.0 -
It's quite windy here now! (But we are on the top of a hill).
I've knocked down the rotten panel of next door's rubbishy fence, replaced the cracked firebrick at the back of the stove and brought in more logs than normal.
Don't think there is anything loose to fly round the garden.
I'm going to ask neighbour (other side, not the rotten fence bloke) if we can take the top 20 feet off her fir tree next year. If it fell now, it could go through the roofs of our houses.0
