Storm coming

It is windy here - dark clouds too.
The idea of the power going off is terrifying! I have a relative on a ventilator who uses an electric bed pretty much 24/7.0 -
I haven't started my prep for this storm yet  although I have known for a few days that it was coming.
I intend to get up early tomorrow and get things sorted in the garden. No idea what to do with the wheelie bins as there is nowhere safe for them so might just lie them down.
I have lots of empty plastic 2l cola bottles so I will fill those with water (probably this evening) and will make sure everything is charged up.
Must find candles and probably get some more as I don't seem to have as many as normal.
I have a torch hanging on my headboard but need to find others and put batteries in them. Kids need to find their torches (which are supposed to hang by their beds <sigh> )
Tonnes of food in and means to cook it.
Need to get another bag of coal and some logs (although free wood should be plentiful after this)

Make sure the electricity company know about this, they'll treat that house as a priority and be able to offer more advice/assistance than usual.0 -
