However even though I'm a UK citizen I've been in the netherlands the past few months so couldn't call the 0800 numbers due to the risk of a crazy phne bill and yet MORE money.
So I ordered on 4th April and decided to wait it out for the rebate, the form of which I sent off in mid-may after the 30 day period passed. I've seen a few comments that the rebate isn't valid for UK customers... how is this possible?! Surely it's false advertising?! Has anybody in the UK applied for and received their rebate? If not can people give me some legal advice on calling ketone and still getting a refund (I haven't opened the bottles) even though the order was a couple of months ago.
Thanks!
Could you use the Distance Selling Regulations?
You could perhaps also use the fact that it is against the law to sell this product anywhere in the EU: use google to search for terms like Food Standards Agency unauthorised novel food to find the site from which you can download the official letter to this effect.0 -
I order in Feb this year.. fell for the scam... submitted my rebate form and was told it takes up to 10 weeks to get your money back. Spoke to them today to find out where my refund was as its been 11wks. The lady i spoke to told me i would have to wait another3-6 weeks minimum as they had a back log but they could refund 60% of the amount today so instead of getting full amount back of £150 i would get £93 ish and they would put it straight into my bank... I asked why they couldnt refund whole amount to which i was told it was an offer the are only doing in june and they could refund whole amount. So delimmer ...do i take the £93 and right off the other £50 and be greatful i got some money back or wait for another couple of months and see if i get my full refund.. any ideas on what i should do???0

There's a phone number in post #458.
As you have no idea who you made the purchase from, it is difficult to say whether that number is appropriate for you.
Why don't you read the whole thread... there are addresses and other useful information hidden therein.0 -
I saw it on Facebook on 6th June with a picture or Jennifer Ellison I purchased the raspberry ketones and cleanse tablets. I paid for both separately as they are from different companies I only had email from the cleanse tablets not the raspberry ketones. I was wondering if anyone else does have any contact details for the raspberry as I have searched but can not find anything regarding them so have no way of trying to get a refund from that company. Better still does any one know the site address or any relevant information over £140 was taken from my account but under as to separate companies and both took out on 9th then again on 23rd June. Can any one else help me try get a refund I'm really struggling. Thank you0

We got done for 2 products (Raspberry Ketones and Aloe Vera Cleanse) so £79.95 x 2.
After speaking with Citizens Advice (many, many, many thanks to them) they pointed out that under the distance selling regulations the company has to provide WRITTEN CONFIRMATION of the terms and conditions when your order arrives, either by email or via letter. We had received no correspondence at all. In these circumstances, the RIGHT TO CANCEL IS EXTENDED TO 7 DAYS after you receive the written confirmation.
We sent an email to the company explaining this and requesting a refund. They insisted we phoned their customer services. After a long and arduous phone call, in which they denied being a British company; denied being bound by British law; denied being connected with the company we purchased from; refused to cover return postage; and tried to fob us off with a partial refund, they gave in!
I quoted their company registration number and the London head office address registered with Companies House. I pointed out at all the details were available via the website that was linked from the email they sent us. I stood my ground and promised to pursue them if they made us pay for return postage. I recorded the call too, just in case.
Anyway, two refunds now being processed and we were told to keep the products and not bother sending them back.
Apparently Nutra Labs, CC Labs USA, All Natural Labs, Advanced Nutra Health and Pure Nutra are all registered to a Mr Shawn Wakefield (Director ID: 917966153W1B 3HH) at: Third Floor 207 Regent Street, London, although obviously this is just a forwarding address. Anyone know where he lives?
I'd like to meet him.0
