you know you've popped up a few times and you never say anything to help, yes i'm aware how rebate works, but i can give you a least of forums where people haven't been given a rebate because according to them somewhere on that page in small print its says that the rebate only applies to people ordering from the USA!
I'm not all that fussed anymore if i only get 134.00 back as long as i;m given a correct RMA number and since mine is only 12 numbers long so guess it's made up since they have also done that to some people as well, and an address that's legitimate. Anyway i'm off to citizens advice tomorrow and the bank even if they can't help me with the company they can remove the charges from my account.

Hi.. I sent my bottles back to the same address they supplied to you via Royal Mail tracked delivery and someone at the other end did sign for it (I didn't put the fulfilment centre bit though, just 'raspberry ketone fresh' followed by the p.o. Box number and address). I would ring them back and demand a proper rma number. Mine was 17 digits long so I would tell them that you know your rma number can't be valid.
  • Hi everyone,

A little ago (March 2014) I made a silly mistake in a silly moment... just as I was on my phone on the train.
I bought what I thought was a one-time offer for the raspberry ketone fresh dietary product that appeared to be £5. Well, it turned out my credit card was charged twice from this company. One transaction for £1.99 and a second one for £153.00.

Below is the letter I wrote to the company, and what I suggest you also do if you have also fallen into the trick!
I got a full refund form credit card company and Raspberry Ketone fresh never dared to dispute it of course!!! They know what they do is wrong!!! They just play on the fact that most often consumers don't know their right!!!!

Oh yes, I have also reported it to action fraud (online police) and Consumer right association via citizen advice bureau. I suggest you do the same.

NOTE. on the letter below you will notice I personally paid for the return of the goods. Under the Sale of Goods Act you don't even have to do this. It was only my choice to close things quickly!!!

    LETTER:
    Raspberry Ketone Fresh
    Attn: Fulfillment Center
    PO Box 13587
Linlithgow, West Lothian, EH49 9AT, UK

    20 March 2014
    Dear Sir or Madam,
On 15/03/2014 I was misled by your online marketing campaign into ordering the following:
Rasberry Ketone Fresh; order no.: *****
On 17/03/2014 at 13.50 and 19.30 hours I called the number your provide for the Uk customer service and left two voice messages asking to cancel my order.
I received the goods on 18/03/2014.

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, and then Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008, I would like to cancel the order and ask you to provide a full refund within 30 days.
I have personally paid the return of the goods to the postal address you provided in the original packaging: World Fulfillment Service Ltd, 40 Tanners Drive, Blakelands, Milton Keynes MK14 5BN, GB

    Yours faithfully,
  • You really don't need a RMA number!

Just use Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, and then Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 as well as Sales of Goods Act.

I hope this help. I posted a letter I used to write to them with few more tips.

    Hope this help.
  • It was not only your fault! companies cannot use misleading marketing campaigns in order to make money!

I would like all consumers to know their rights a bit more.... I fell into this trick but it has been a 'blessing in disguised' for me as I know so much more about my rights as a consumer now. :)

I encourage all of you to do the same....
just google sale of goods act and read. Which? is also a very good site for consumer rights.... use this words for your search and you will be surprised how much help there is out there. The world is a good place after all.

I thought I read that these companies were american?

Does the sale of goods act cover american companies?

Are american companies obliged to abide by the UK's Distance Selling regulations?

Do the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts laws apply to american sales?

Perhaps they just refunded you because they couldn't be bothered to argue... nothing wrong with that of course.

Of course Which? magazine and the Consumers Association do good work, but lots of information is available on this very site.
Try MSE's Consumer Rights article for a start.

Thanks for all the tips and help these forums have saved me from going insane! they received the item today a Mr J Cameron signed for it, the bank said that i had to return the item before they would be able to dispute it don't understand why though. Ill let you know what the bank says and when i get my refund.

I think since most times it's coming from a UK address to a UK address and when you have to return them it's going to a UK address (if that makes any sense) they should be since to me that means they are trading in the UK.
  • so i foolishly got caught with this scam back in feb so after my goods arrived I managed to get the RMA number and returned them. I was told i would get refunded by cheque between 3-5 weeks.....I waited for almost 7 weeks with no joy so i called them back and the girls taken the bar code from the tracking receipt i got from the post office, once i given the number she said would process the refund and the money would be refunded back into my account in 7-10 working working days........here is hoping!!!!

so if any of you are waiting on a cheque please don't......call them back, i sent my package back on the 28th of Feb it was restocked by 3rd of March so this means to me you clearly have to be on their backs to get your cash back.....i just hope I'm not calling them again after these 10 working days!!
  • i received my refund today:j:j:j:j

only £134.00 BUT its better that than nothing and letting it go......the £20 I have not managed to recover is the price I am willing to write off and will be EXTRA careful in the future :T

For all of you wanting a refund......KEEP GOING :j
  • I have recently ordered this raspberry ketone fresh as it said it was free and after putting order through ive been told that the £170 will come out of my account and after 30days i can fill out a rebate form and they will send a cheque out with refunded money. I wouldnt have got this if i knew that. Its alot if money i dont have. They said i cant cancel it i can only send it bk for a refund or wait the 30days then rebate.
Does anyone know if they do actually send you a cheque out and get your money back? Any advice would be great.
The customer service number for them is 08004046960 for anyone wanting to know it. They are not helpfull though and wont cancel order. I have emailed too but had no reply.
    Thanks
  • I too was a victim of this. I placed my order on 14th Nov 2013. I sent my rebate form promptly on 14th december 2013. As yet, still no sign of any cheque. I have rang them religiously every 2 weeks to hassle. This is the number to call: 0800 4046960 between 1pm & 10pm weekdays. (you'll need to quote your order number which should be on your confirmation email). today is the 6th time I will have called them. Each time they tell me they will rush a request through accounts. today I will ask to speak to a manager - let's see how far I get!! I've also filled in an online fraud reporting form on the actionfraud.police.uk website
I suggest you all do this & keep phoning them. the more we hassle, the more likely we are to get results. Yours hopefully!
    xx
