  • Please can you let me know any outcome you get. I am also going to look to take this further.
  • Not sure if I've been done by the same company but the amounts etc are the same.
I've done some research - the UK company involved is Nutra Pro Ltd. They have an office at D11 Glyme Court, Kidlington, OX5 1LQ.
They also have an address that is just a few miles from me and I may go check that out (Linlithgow, Scotland)
I'm pretty sure their T&Cs cover those fees taken.
I've sent them e.mails requesting they close my account and also stating that I do not authorise any further payments from my card - if they do, then that will be fraud. They promise to respond to e.mails in 24 hours - that's a joke.
I've also sent them a Recorded Delivery Letter and I doubt I'll get any response to that.
They are a £1 company - original director was one Robert Bedford who is owner/director of a few dozen companies (which is not usually a good sign). He resigned a few months back and the MD is now an Allen Kaplan - tried a Google search but nothing on a UK based person of that name. I think this is all set up to be a quick hit - they will run the scam for a few months before too much word gets out - the average amount is £175 (for 2 products) multiply that by as little as a 1000 mugs like us and it's a lot of money to make in a few months before you move on to the next thing.
I did speak to come one on the phone - not helpful (sounded of Asian/Indian origin) and his English was very poor - basically their T&Cs have them reasonably covered for that first payment - the Ads are misleading to the extent they use the word Free - and there may be some room there for conflicting info.
I think everyone on here should contact BBC Watchdog or Rip-Off Britain in the hope of at least putting them out of business.
  • I clicked and bought through Facebook. I found out yesterday £179 had been taken from my account with Santander. They will not help me other than put a card dispute action against the companies for the two transactions, i have been told by visa disputes that i have agreed to the t&c's to a continued payment. I have the block in place now but have been advised by Visa that i have to ensure payments are stopped with the sellers. I contacted the 0800 number on my delivery notice for nutra green coffee and raspberry ketone advance i got through after about 8 minutes and spoke to a lady called Angela, i called at 5pm and i have to send back the things i received she gave me a rma number for each and as has been said earlier, contact them with the tracking number. I double and treble checked my order was cancelled only to find out to my horror i had not yet been debited for the nutra green coffee, (you see i also bought slimbodycleanse at the cost of £78) I have made sure she has cancelled everything as long as i send all back. I asked when i will get a refund and she quoted 6-8 working days. The slimbodycleanse people i have to contact by phone, i have already emailed them but realised this Afternoon there is a card in the package with a phone number on it which came from Prague!!! What a mess, i feel like a muppet, really stupid and i have learned a very expensive lesson. My bank have told me it is not a scam because they quote everything in the t&c's it our fault for not reading them. Don't know if this helps others, i feel sick as it's money i couldn't afford to lose, but hey, the stress is keeping my appetite at bay! Good luck to everyone else.
  • I also fell for this Facebook advert in the middle of January and received ketone and coffee cleanse, received both of them but never used them as I'm doing juice plus. I discovered on Friday they took out two transactions out of my bank last week one at £94.95 and the other at £79.97. I rang the bank & they said as I gave my bank details it wasn't fraud and to ring them back after a week if I can't get my money back. They have cancelled any further debits they try & take from me & will call me if they do. They gave me two numbers to ring one was closed and the other number an American guy answered I ranted down the phone at him, he asked for my name and then put me on hold. After 5 minutes I decided to hang up. I then went & found my invoice they sent with the pills & rang that number & a lady answered. I explained the situation but she wasn't very helpful. She told me I had to send the pills back in order to get a refund and two numbers I had to put on front of the parcel for each bottle. She gave me address to send too which was slightly different to the invoice address. As it's a Po box address it would just go straight to a distribution centre and won't be tracked. I was getting really frustrated so my partner took over and demanded a refund and she said someone would call me back. A few hours passed & me & my partner were reading different forums saying this was a scam & no one was getting there money back. We were so frustrated as £179 is a lot of money to loose. So my partner was so angry he rang back & a guy answered called Adam my partner went mad at him & demanded a full refund & explained the situation it left us in. How this is a scam & it's not on ripping people off like this. Adam was based in Florida & agreed how bad the company was & the company is based in India & we had come through to the over flow line as they are having so many phone calls. My partner said he was not getting off the phone until he authorised a full refund back which he then agreed to do. So my partner said how come you can do that but the person we spoke to earlier just wanted to fob us off. He said I can see its a problem and will refund you the money as I have the power to do so. He said it would take 3-5 business days so we didn't hold our breathe. Until today when I have checked my account and got a full refund. So it proves when you go hard on them on the phone & speak to a decent person you can get your money back. I have rang the bank & blocked my card so they are sending out a new one to me. So I hope this gives you all hope out there that you can get your money back don't give up.

Sorry about your plight, but even more people would be helped if you could actually post the phone number of 'Adam in Florida'.
  • My friend fell for this scam and said she had two lots of money taken from her account totalling £185.00!! she was put in the red and would have gone over overdraft unless she got the money back. I rang the firm to be told her 'trial period' had ran out on 31/1/14 she only ordered the tablets 25/1/14, I spoke to a representative and just told him we hadn't received the tablets yet the money had been taken out of the account, they immediately issued a refund, never even offered to despatch the goods again, but was told the 2 x payments of £4.95 were non-returnable so we still lost £10 but she was so relieved she got the other money back. When I lokked up these tablets on the internet they haven't even been tested on humans, only on rats, so please DONT try them just throw them away!!

I have also just been charged £150 even after calling the number, speaking to someone and cancelling my product, the money has still been taken from my account! I have just called again only for another guy to tell me that I didn't cancel and my account was still active. I have been promised confirmation emails but have still not received anything.. I am not sure what to do to get my money back and to ensure that I am not charged anything further!
Anyone got any advice for me please?
Tell them you haven't received the items yet and they will refund you the full amounts except for the postage they say thats non returnable, but think if I had pushed them I would have got that back as well, but my friend was just so glad I got the £150 back for her. Don't give up though, fight for your money, but please dont try the tablets, I have looked up on them and they haven't been tested on humans yet, only rats!! throw them away the dustbin is the best place for them.
    Good Luck!!

Hi my friend fell for this scam as well and had £150 taken out of her account, I rang the firm and spoke to Shane.... just told him I hadn't received any goods yet at all!! he had a word with his supervisor and they issued a full refund, but please make sure you cancel it with your bank as they can and will take further payments out monthly until you cancel it through your bank. Good luck and hope this helps.!!
  • This is the number I used to contact them & get my refund 08000149645. It's great to see other people have been getting a refund. I hope you all manage go get your money back, don't give up and don't accept them saying you can't have a refund be firm with them.
  • I rang NatWest and they have put a block on all future payments to this company but can do nothing about the pending £151. They said to ring or email the company to cancel the order. I am going to ring at 1pm when they open.
