I didn't see it on Facebook but tried it from elsewhere. I didn't see the terms and conditions on the final page, there was confirmation of this on any emails after until I checked my bank. I got in touch with my bank first to cancel the direct debit and they looked into it. I found out in the mean time that this was what they do so I got them to cancel asap. The bank refunded the money that was charged. It was hidden but very simple to notice if you check your bank regularly which as money savers we should.0

I have just had £95 taken from my bank yesterday. I ordered and paid for a small bottle offered for £4.95 which was sent to me on 19th January. I thought it odd that the sample came with no information or advertising and thought perhaps it has been sent from a fulfilment company and I would get more information by email - or post - I didn't get any information.
'Rasberry Ketone Blast' is the product's name it appeared as a pop up on Facebook -took me to a website page called 'Womens Health' quoting BBC etc . . and the offer was there.
I have spent hours on the phone to Natwest this morning - sent from pillar to post - no joy; they say it is not a fraud because I 'agreed' (terms and conditions box was ticked). They suggested I report it to Actionfraud - a government operation I have, they too say it is not a fraud; they suggested Trading Standards which ended up being the - Citizens Advice Bureau as apparently you cant complain direct to Trading Standards anymore - they have sent the complaint and given me a ref number. But said there is nothing I can do to get my money back.
They are all saying it is perfectly legal. Utter tosh. I found the original website - the tick box at payment end is already ticked. And nowhere does it say - you are agreeing to pay £100 a month - forever!!! In fact it says it is a No Risk Trial. And they are laughing all the way to the bank.
They are operating from Cambridge - Beach Ready Inc . I see they also have a company in California where there were complaints about their scamming way back in 2009.
This MUST be stopped. I am supposed to feel grateful that the order has been cancelled and the bank says that if they do it again I will be refunded! They have mugged me of £95. What can we do to stop these people?0 -
I see from above that David and K littlewood got their money refunded from their banks - can you please tell me which banks because I think I might change mine.0

I to fell for this on facebook, it was fronted by Dawn french and Pauline Quirke, allegedly they lost loads of weight, they started taking money out of my account 2 days ago, fortunately i had only £40.00 in it, my bank assures me they can do a charge back to get my money back and will stop further payments, am so annoyed that i fell for it, i now of course realise that these 2 ladies have been used by the scammers to help them card details and rob folk!
can you tell me which bank this was - bacause NatWest have refused me - thanks0 -

I see your bank has refunded you - can you tell me which bank NatWest have refused to refund me0 -
You're covered if you used a credit card and report to them within twelve days of transaction. ALWAYS use a credit card when purchasing online. You can only claim from your bank if it was an illegal or fraudulent transaction, not just if you didn't read the book of complicated t&cs. You will need to report to police and go to bank with a crime number. I got scammed with the keytone fresh rebate scam which is at best misleading but is actually illegal as they emailed me directly (did not access through Facebook) and said I would get rebate after 30 days but nowhere does it state you have to have a usa address so this would have been grounds for a claim (but was covered through mastercard anyway). Which product did you buy? Research online other peoples experiences for an example of why it is illegal rather than just misleading and ring the police. Good luck!0

thanks - I did pay by debit card - but I am going to pursue through chargeback - Raspberry Ketone Blast was the product (see my post for full details) in the UK - and they are in the UK0 -
I too was taken in by this - FURTHER WARNING - My internet banking access has now been compromised. May be a coincidence (luckily Natwest highlighted the scam to me originally, also when internet banking compromised) but when they got into my account they had personal details to enable them to do so. Took money for tabs which was refunded, latest changed my e mail access and tried to transfer money etc. COINCIDENTAL WARNING0

Ok, everyone's complaining about the costs and being overcharged BUT DOES IT WORK?
Does it do what it claims? Can you lose weight using it?0 -
Of course not!:rotfl:
You eat less and move more, and hey you will lose weight.:eek:0
