This is most definitely a scam!!!
Where to begin, I like most fell for it, I buy online all the time but fell for the pay only £4.95 for free trial, popped in my debit card details & a fee days later the raspberry ketone pills arrived. It was only the next day I checked my bank account to the horror of £151 comes out my account. I promptly phoned the bank explaining I was a victim of fraud who checked it out & we're able to tell me that I had been enrolled into a subscription so there was nothing they could do (TSB bank). I was so upset annoyed that I'd fell for this I am a student & a single parent. I decided to go into the bank to see the manager who had a thorough look at my account. She too explained I was not a victim of fraud though that they we're unauthorised payments, she filed me a dispute & told me instructions to send items back tracked delivery & that I'd have to wait 15days for bank to file dispute to wait for full refund from company. After emails calls to America & a tracked special delivery letter there was no reply from RKF company (Linlithgow). Thankfully after only 2 days after sending my dispute letter to bank I got a full refund. I am probably of the minority who got a refund.
Never again0 -
I foolishly made the mistake of purchasing what I presumed were 90 days worth of these weight loss tablets without reading all the terms and conditions on the website. When I realised my account had been charged £153 instead of the £4.99 as advertised I contacted my bank immediately to pursue action.
After speaking with my ban I was advised the payment was pending and a dispute could not be lodged before the payment was actually cleared. This took 3 days to clear, all the while I attempted to contact the company to cancel the transaction and every attempt was unsuccessful. Once the payment had cleared my bank told me I could not raise a dispute as the conditions are made clear in the T&Cs on the website, even though the payment page states the final price will be £4.99.
Since then I have repeatedly tried calling every number I have been able to get hold of and have spent hours on the phone. The following are the numbers I have tried FYI -
1. 001 888 222 4979 - this number gave me options to select whether I was a US or Canadian customer. After waiting I was given the option of speaking to an advisor, although each time I got to this stage the line went quiet and eventually the line went dead.
2. 0800 909 8002 - This number from what I can gather is a Scottish voicemail advising German customers to contact them on their German email address. I tried this although got nowhere. I called repeatedly and never had someone answer the phone.
3. 0800 404 6960 - I called this number the most and spent hours trying to speak to an advisor. Please note the line is only active between 1pm-10pm. I lost count of the number of times I called this number and each time there was a recorded voice telling me to wait on the line - sometime I would wait 5 minutes, sometimes I would wait 30 minutes all for the line to be disconnected or be asked to leave a voicemail for a return call, which was never returned. After nearly giving up hope, today after spending two hours making calls to this number and being disconnected I made a called and it was answered within a minute! The person on the phone took my details and told me I could keep the package and claim my cashback...I quoted the T&Cs of the deal that sales outside of the US weren't eligible for this and the advisor agreed stating she forgot. I asked a couple of times for a refund and for my RMA number which I was told would be sent to me in an email and if I didn't receive the email I should call back. Really?! I asked politely for the RMA number over the phone and confirmed the return postal address as I had spent a considerable amount of time trying to get into contact with the company which I was given. I was told I would have to send the parcel by tracked delivery with insurance and would receive my refund 3-5 weeks after the parcel was received. I was told after these timescales that it could actually take a further 1-2 weeks due to delays etc so up to 7 weeks I have to wait. I would also be responsible for the postal costs, which I can live with although I was then told I would receive £138 due to a restocking charge of £10. I did comment on this as a payment of £153 was taken not £148 although I was told its due to exchange rates...again completely false advertising.
Hopefully I will receive a refund by April!
I did make a call to citizens advise and the advertising standards agency although I was told its a foreign company and nothing much can be done. Distance selling regulations don't apply either as its a US company. Its awful the amount of people this has affected and how much money people will lose out on taking into account postage and restocking fees although please do not wait for the 30 days cashback offer. It does not apply to anyone outside of the US.
Keep calling 0800 404 6960 and hopefully you will eventually speak with someone who can help but bear in mind they will try and convince you to keep the product. At the moment they have £153 of my money sitting in their bank and I imagine are continuing to rake it in.0 -
Was it the linlithgow address you sent it back to or do you have an address for the states? Thanks0

Hello,
I have done the same think It said 90 days worth of the bottle for only the postage and packaging price of £4.95 for raspberry ketone. I've emailed them straight away as I got an email within ten minutes of purchasing the order so I emailed explaining I want to cancel the order straight away (so far no reply) I've looked at terms and conditions there is nothing about the £150 that has already been taken out of my bank account it just says about being charged if I want to post it back for a refund. I have taken the number for return authorisation and the return address which is America. I have also taken the customer service number. On my email it says within 30 days my rebate mail will be available to click and print off. I am really angry that it didn't have the hidden charge of £150 as I am only a university student. I am going to speak to my bank see if they can help and get my money back. Does anyone know if you can send the product the back as soon as it arrives and receive a full refund. £150 is a lot of money and it doesn't say it in any of the small print I've read all the terms and conditions there is nothing about the real price.0 -
i have now stupidly fell for the scam
and would love if someone could help me!....where do i start to get my money back?

The return address I was given is:
Attn: Fulfillment Center
RMA # ________________________
PO Box 13587
Linlithgow, West Lothian, EH49 9AT, UK
You require the return authorisation code from an advisor at the call centre otherwise the return package will not be accepted and you won't receive a refund.0 -
I called them back today, as I had received the goods. I tried to quote the distance selling regulations at them, as other people on here seemed to have success with that, but was told that they didn't apply because it's in the T&Cs that they charge for restocking. She also implied heavily that I was stupid because I wanted to return the product and lose money, instead of keep the product and get it all back. When I pointed out that I was concerned I wouldn't get the rebate, because of what I've read about the UK issue, she had the cheek to tell me the internet lies! I'd rather lose £15 than £150, so I'll be returning them, very carefully, since they have so many loopholes that mean returning them doesn't get you your money! Also my bank said the same, that because of the terms stating the deal, they can't do anything about it. But they did know what I was about to tell them before I'd even finished, as they've had a lot of people having the same problem.0

I cancelled my card. Called them and have a number to add to the items when I return them
I called 08000149645 and got straight through0 -
Just called the number the above user posted 08000149645
and got through after about 4 minutes. An American lady took my call and said that the system was updating and that I should call back in 1-2 hours as they could not access my account. I asked to speak to her line manager and she replied "ma'am we are authorised to take these calls and advise you that the system is updating."
Questioning her on why it was not advertised she replied "well you signed up for a 14 day trial and after those 14 days if you haven't cancelled they will charge your account"
I then said to her that I had not signed up for the 14 day trial and that actually I signed up just last night and that the payment was already waiting to go from my account not 5 hours later! (Whats this 14 day rubbish?)The payment was for £150 and did she think it was right I was being left in lingo with a pending withdrawal that I was trying to cancel before it left my bank?
Her reply………??
"Well ma'am I would say that if I was going to order from the internet- I would read the Terms and conditions fully as I have two children at home to support"
OMG!
So now as it is left I have to call back in an "hour or two" in which time "hopefully the system will be updated" and they can access my account or wait 24 hours for a call back!!
How can this be legal?!?!?! Also the advert I saw was also the advert with Glamour Magazine and Jennifer Ellison. FALSE ADVERTISING
One last thing….. Has ANYONE ACTUALLY RECEIVED a refund?>
All I've been reading is "Hopefully I will get"0 -

Anyway, I fear i may have fallen into the same trap and cleared my bank account as there was only £30 in it.
However, I don't know if my purchase/free trial actually was processed because when i typed in my details etc the page said "error" and all this other stuff.
I also didn't receive a confirmation email. Did this happen to all of yous who got scammed? or did yous get some confirmation that it actually worked? Worried
Hi this happened to me tonight, it said my issuer had declined the transaction so I then googled it and found this thread.
I just rang my bank HSBC in a panic and they have told me that their fraud squad have blocked the transaction and the money won't be going out but to keep an eye on my account and contact them if there are any unauthorised transactions. Thank god HSBC are on the ball. Hopefully your bank have done the same for you.DS 1 born 12/02/2009DS 2 born 30/01/2012Married 07/07/07xx Love my boys xx0
