Took walk out to pick up a couple of things. 1p found by the self service - had a rough day with roadkill as I'm still a bit distracted by hubby's missing ring so there were several moments when I had to have a small chat with myself and forcibly pay more attention! Also found a boatload of w/r. Have checked2 so far and am up by £1.57 for the day.

I'm ashamed that I had to leave a 20p coin in the middle of a main road (I didn't fancy becoming roadkill myself).

I found a penny at the bottom of my road, 10p in the ticket machine at my local train station and 5p on the floor in Tesco.

My November total is now £1.41

I really need to find some 50p and pound coins somewhere!

I'm actually not doing as well as usual on the roadkill front. Last month I ended up with over £20 (all in coins).

I'm going to keep using my "roadkill finds" spreadsheet once this month is over. You can never have too many spreadsheets :rotfl:

Not sure whether to suggest "look harder",or "it is when you stop looking these things just appear".
For me, I can barely walk outside my house without starting to scan the ground.My (young,and very close to the ground children),think I am looking at them and listening when they talk to me.Actually,I am looking past them,at the ground below them :rotfl:

Wow Emma!! That's an amazing monthly total for coins!! I am hoping the opportunities to pick up coins increases the closer we get to Christmas!

Muhren, it will get easier - I find far far more now than I did a year ago. My hubby gets really frustrated as I often pick up coins that are right next to him that he doesn't see. It takes a while to train your eyes to pick them up in your field of vision. A couple of weeks ago, I spied an old dark brown penny amongst leaves in my peripheral vision. That surprised not only the friends I was with but also myself - it's just a lot of practice.....it will come!
