Hello everyone. Found £2.20 on the back seat of a taxi today. Biggest haul for me to date, so making a grand total of £2.28 so far.
I believe I have now peaked!Still striving to be mortgage free before I get to a point I can't enjoy it.

I've been trying to cut my shopping spends to the bone in recent weeks, but even so it's a rare trip where my receipt hasn't generated a quid or more in reductions. My mum is more spendier than I am, and often gets an APG voucher from her receipt for four or five quid.
Thanx SB, what is APG and do WR vouchers have expiry dates on them?YNAB is my new best friend.0 -

I have abit of a dilemma some days.
I am on the No Spend Days thread, but I also need an excuse to lurk around supermarkets and other shops,so on days like today,I go to the supermarket simply to buy milk, bread and roadkill.
So my NSD total stalls,AND ,like today,I don't find roadkill.
Having said I didnt find anything,I did find another trolley token this afternoon(2 for the month).
So,my tally for this month is £2.24 roadkill,2 trolley tokens,3 buttons,5 soft drink ring-pulls and a piece of cardboard out of a fireworks.
Not planning to give up my day job anytime soon..........:rotfl:

I'm in a bit of a predicament, there is a road I walk past that's always quite messy, rubbish on the pavements and overflowing bins in doorways, but yesterday I spotted a few coppers and a 5p amongst the rubbish. It's still there today! But it is in someone's door way, between a wrought iron gate and fence so I am too scared to go and pick them up! They're really old coins, the coppers have started to go green from rust or something. If I go in the little walkway to the door I'm worried someone will come out and have a go at me, it's not somewhere where I can quickly retrieve and hurry off. Please help rebels! Should I just go for it? I thought about coming back after dark but that will look even more dodgy!0

Well I said I wouldn't post in the thread again until I had found another coin but....
Gthot I would go for it, and if someone does come out just say that you dropped something and were picking it up. Easier said than done I know but I think I would be more inclined to do that than lie on the floor in the middle of a busy shop!
Oh yeah I found a penny at work last thing yesterday, it was in a busy office so I went down to adjust my lace and picked it up. The drought is over, I never knew finding a penny could bring such joy!LBM: Dec 2012 - Debt £38,180/ Now £0.

I have hit a dry patch, nothing for me yesterday, and I was pipped to the post for the shiny 10p in school car park this morning by a little boy! His parents are teaching him well obviously! :rotfl:It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0
