A 1p and a shiny 5p found in Mr T's near the tills. This is my first find of the month! Haven't been doing too well so really pleased to find this!

I have set aside a tin especially to collect my finds! (Separate from sealed pot):money:

Wow there have been some more really great finds today :T

As it has been raining here most of the day and I have been busy studying, I haven't had a chance to go looking for roadkill.

I have, however, sold three lots of used tennis balls @ £8.99 a time on eBay so I've had a really positive day :)

I didn't spot any roadkill during my return trip to the local Post Office to post the tennis balls :(

Tomorrow I'll keep a look out while I'm running in the morning.

This thread totally makes me smile! You guys are awesome! I wish I could invite you all to tea! Well done on all the finds and bravo for getting that poor lady's wallet back to her. I can claim nothing so grand but I did find a drivers licence on the floor in A$da yesterday which I took straight to CS. Not quite as heroic as saving someone's ability to eat for the week!!!

26p found on my lunchtime walk, 20p of which was tucked well under the shelving in the sweets aisle - I tell you, that aisle is well worth looking over carefully!

  • 20p (3 x 5p, 3 x 1p and 1 x 2p) found in the last few days, in Tesco, on the street and on a bus.

People on this thread are doing so well!
  • It's amazing at how much road kill is out there. I can't wait to see what we have collected as a grand total at the end of the month, maybe give us a target to beat the following month?

    So addictive. :)

Amen! When you realize that it is quite the motivator! I absolutely expect to find money every day because there is that much out there.

Me too! And yeah we can set a group goal next month for sure. Let's see how we do this month and then add 20%??? Does that sound fair? Figure it won't hurt to apply some pressure........:rotfl:

Must try wombling, is seems so rewarding, also better chance of actually finding something.

Went to my brothers Saturday evening for a pizza night and got talking about this thread and mentioned the WRs as my brother and wife shop there.

Guess what they bin their receipts or just leave them in the carrier bag onc pack shopping away,, made them find all receipts so we could check them, turns out they had £1.28 on just 1 receipt alone, now all we need to know is what happens once printed?

  • Well looks like we need some shopping so DW & DD have gone to ALDI, I was going to go so I could go a hunting but they decide they would go while I read DS a bedtime story as he'd asked for me to put him to bed tonight as I'm on days this week :) oh well, maybe next time.

On the upside though, DD has agreed to check out the trolley bays for me :), does this count as a find if she comes home with something?

Take the voucher to the checkout at your next shop, together with the original receipt (they won't accept the voucher without it) and then they will mark the receipt, take the voucher and reduce your shopping bill accordingly.

I've been trying to cut my shopping spends to the bone in recent weeks, but even so it's a rare trip where my receipt hasn't generated a quid or more in reductions. My mum is more spendier than I am, and often gets an APG voucher from her receipt for four or five quid.
