Me too! Still no luck here and I visited a large general hospital today...........the large amounts of gum on pavement outside main entrance apart form looking vile and off putting made it look like the floor was littered with coins!Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Nothing again for me ... I think my area must be over-run with roadkill rebels as even Tesco was clear todayIt's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0

Oh my sweet Rebels!!!!!! Roadkill just got INTERESTING!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not sure if you're gonna love me or hate me because this will give you something else to search for!!!!!! I am now on my 14th consecutive day of roadkill and I thought I was doing pretty well today with a total find of 53p. Well. I was chatting with a co-worker a couple of weeks ago and she told me she was reading scratchcards wrong for the longest time and threw away loads of winners! I found this pretty hard to believe until someone on the boards said they picked one up and it was a winner. So for the last week I've been picking them up - already scratched and discarded. Tonight, I picked up a winner that was just thrown on the floor in the car park - it may only have been £4 but the money is in my pocket and I am hooked!!!!!! You won't find a single discarded scratchcard in this town now while I am here!!!!! Whoop!!!
This takes my total roadkill for the month past the £10 mark.....I am pretty darn thrilled to bits with that! Waiting on the next hour or two to check the receipts we wombled but we're pushing £30 for the month on those.
There is money out there me hearties!!!!
So many good stories the last couple of days and apologies for being somewhat MIA - having some issues at home that I've been nursing but wanted to share my story from today so you can all have something else to search for.....:DCredit Card Freedom gained 14 Feb 2014!!Total Debt Freedom gained 29 Apr 2014!!Savings goal 30/9/23: £72,000/£538,001.....yes I'm serious!Total Debt August 2013: [STRIKE]$21,587[/STRIKE] April 2014: $0!!!!:j0 -

I parked up at a supermarket this evening, got out of the car, and found a £20 note on the floor!
I looked around to see if anyone was looking on the floor for something (in case someone had just dropped it), but my half of the carpark was empty, nobody around, and the note was damp (it had obviously been on the floor for a while, and was all crumpled)...so i picked it up and put it in my pocket. Was this the right thing to do? I have never found a £20 note on the floor before and feel slightly guilty for picking it up.
Totally cool - it was absolutely lost and you had no way of locating the owner. Good karma for sure - congrats!found a penny (my 1st in Teesside so was super excited - all hope is not lost)
also found a stash of sada receipts at my mums she was about to bin so I daughter-wombled them haha
YES!!!!! There is money in Teesside!!! :Thollieinbloom wrote: »Seems like no-one is dropping their pennies this month! only found 11p so far but going to town with my nan soon so I will be on the hunt whilst shopping.
Had an idea as-well with receipts (if people aren't already doing this). Check to see if people have bought items from the cashback apps! I have Shopitize, quidco clicksnap and topcashback apps which offer cashback on certain groceries. Will be picking trolleys today where people have left their receipts!x
Hollie, I will be checking this out in about 10 seconds........thank you for the tip!Credit Card Freedom gained 14 Feb 2014!!Total Debt Freedom gained 29 Apr 2014!!Savings goal 30/9/23: £72,000/£538,001.....yes I'm serious!Total Debt August 2013: [STRIKE]$21,587[/STRIKE] April 2014: $0!!!!:j0 -

YES!!! Spotted a 5p and nearly knocked two women to get to it, only for them to stop and stare at me trying unsuccessfully to retrieve it......it wasn't my finest hour!! :rotfl:Credit Card Freedom gained 14 Feb 2014!!Total Debt Freedom gained 29 Apr 2014!!Savings goal 30/9/23: £72,000/£538,001.....yes I'm serious!Total Debt August 2013: [STRIKE]$21,587[/STRIKE] April 2014: $0!!!!:j0 -
2* 20p pieces today... I must say I only seem to find money when in/around shops. As I don't shop often that means less chance of roadkill
Its NSD's vs Roadkill at the moment :rotfl:

Well,HOK3Y,at least scratch-cards are easier to see on the ground:no looking twice at every piece of chewing gum/button/ring-pull there:rotfl:
No monetary finds today, only wombled a sort-of-receipt.It wasn't actually a receipt, but one of those Tesco "spend £40 and save £5" vouchers.Since I do regularly shop in Tesco,so I will use it,but as far as roadkill,it ain't cash and it aint a receipt ,and there isn't another column(called "Chewy,Buttons,Ringpulls and Coupons That Make You Spend Money to Save ):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Good luck,everyone.Isn't it great to see so many new faces around here?(Actually,not too close to here-where I am-looking for MY roadkill)SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76
