What's the deal with the receipts people are finding ? How do you make money or vouchers from a reciept ?

2* 20p pieces today... I must say I only seem to find money when in/around shops. As I don't shop often that means less chance of roadkill :( Its NSD's vs Roadkill at the moment :rotfl:

I go to the Morrisons in the town where I work to search for roadkill everyday and I often don't buy anything.....and I don't feel weird about it either!

If you find an A$da receipt with at least eight DIFFERENT grocery items, you can type the barcode of the receipt into their price guarantee website and it will give you a voucher if it wasn't 10% cheaper than other supermarkets. No guaranteed results and hubby and I check our local store at least twice a day. You must staple the original receipt to the voucher or they won't accept it. This has really helped with our food costs.

Ah you are ahead of me in this game grasshopper! :D. I am hoping for some more winners on the run up to Christmas. I am amazed at some of these - I've picked up a few that cost £10!!!!!! I actually find that shocking!!!!

  • 3p found yesterday in morrisons. 2p by where the birthday cards were (an old woman praised me for picking it up) and 1p as I was walking out. This was the hardest to get as it was right by the door as I had to stand there waiting for people will trolleys coming in and out before I could get it and my coat is a bit restrictive on bending... So i couldn't do it quickly! lol. xx

Goals: Save £500 for emergencies, Save £200 of Amazon vouchers for Xmas, fix my holey clothes!
