What a traumatic roadkill day today has been!
My roadkill total for the month is 5p
As I got out of the car on a busy petrol forecourt aforementioned 5p somehow flew out of my handbag (it was in the front section *roadkill pouch as its now/was before this called*) and rolled under the bl&&dy car!!!!
Well there was just no way I was going to come and tell you lovely dfw's that I had lost my only roadkill!! So I stood and I grumbled and I thought to myself "what would Hokey do...." so I got back in the car reversed it and rescued my roadkill!! Hahaha got some funny stares but woohoo I dont care my roadkill is safe :-Dtotal debt Nov 13 - £3080

I reckon everybody here are holding on very tight to their pocket rubble cos so far no luck
However I have had a very busy day doing an Autumn Clean and have found a lot of loose change - all put away in various coin pots ..................but not in my roadkill pot...........I know the rulesBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

QUOTE:"Well, I have good news and some truly horrid news. W/r total for the 8th was £1.83. Then we took another very late walk (after midnight) and total from that endeavour was 48p w/r and 52p roadkill for the 9th......which is great, until I point out that the reason for the walk was that hubby lost his $2k wedding band on our previous trip. Pretty darn gutted to say the least. No sign of it. Reported to police. Going to put up some flyers tomorrow.

HOK3Y, I'm really sorry to read this
I hope that the wedding band is located and returned to your hubby.
I walked into Sutton Coldfield today as I wanted to make a start on some Christmas shopping. I found the grand total of 11p in roadkill but spent far more on Christmas presents
Tomorrow I'll walk to the local shops again. I'm determined to find some more roadkill inside my local Waitrose/Sainsbury'sAttempting to make £2021 in 20210 -

Oooh,I am on a roll,today,HOK3Y :money::beer::j:j:j.
As I mentioned the other day,I have been itching to wander around specifically to search for roadkill. This morningI was lying in bed about 8am thinking "It is too early now:nobody has had time to shop and lose roadkill buy 8am!!!".
By 11 am,told OH was going to Tesco(and a couple of surrounding shops). It was only when I stepped outside I realised it was absolutely POURING RAIN!!
Never mind....
So,finds today,in order:
£1.00 found on ground of trolley bay(I make the rounds of every trolley bay before and after going in a supermarket these days, people must wonder why I am either pushing my full trolley toward every trolley bay and looking in,or my empty trolley toward every bay,as if looking for a suitable parking spot for it!!)
10p on entrance of self-service area.It was under a trolley,1/2 covered up with a box!
1p in the alcove your feet stand in while scanning.I had seen it while walking past the scanner, but the scanner was being used(could hardly dive in between another customer's legs while they were scanning, could I?
(It is not like my name is HOK3Y or something!!!!!)
Instead I approached the alcove area from the other side (ie while leaving the supermarket).
5p:I then went to Boots and looked under the self-serve fridges, saw a 5p tucked right back underneath it.Couldnt see how I was going to get it without lying on my tummy-hadn't bought a ruler with me to sweep it out!!).But that is exactly what I ended up doing:flat on tummy, reach under fridge.I can't even pretend to be reading the packaging on products while lying on the floor:rotfl:
Sooo pleased with my booty today:£1.16 (more than doubled my cash roadkill total of £1.08 so far)
Just a note to everyone,Tesco seems to be doing the Price promise at the moment,so keep worth wombling their receipts at the moment.BUT STAY OFF MY PATCH!!!!!!:rotfl:
Good luck, everyone.I really must catch up on housework tomorrow, but am so tempted to go out hunting (OH going with kids to grandparents tomorrow,so my dirty little secret will remain safe!)SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76
