I have a strange question.
What does it mean when you can recall various dreams from the past? not sure going back how far. Over the past couple of days I've been getting random images popping into my head of various vivid dreams I have had over the years.
Any idea?
I would think this means the theme of those dreams is applicable to something that is happening now or that you didn't deal with the original issue that the dream was indicating, feel free to post these images it may help to know what they symbolise.I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -

Giving birth is representative of a new idea, project or scheme you are working on, perhaps a new direction in life you are contemplating.I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -
Pregnancy dreams symbolize the developing of a new idea, adventure, project or scheme.
This new venture appears to be heading one way but has perhaps grown to be something bigger than expected and perhaps different to the original idea, hence the female twins instead of the male single baby. Twins can also represent conflicting ideas.
Giving birth is representative of bringing the venture to life.
The bridge indicates an important decision to be made, that you may be at a critical junction with this venture and you feel unsure, it feels dangerous and unsafe but ultimately it is doable.
Your husband's role in the dream depicts your relationship with him in waking life, the dream suggests he is a great support and is very encouraging.
Hope this makes some sense x
Critical junction is about right at the moment yes and it does feel unsafe but hopefully will be doable,my husband is a great support too,all things I can very much relate to in there, thanks Pukkamum0 -
Dreaming about toilets indicate an unhealthy situation in your life that you don't know how to deal with.
Looking for a toilet means you are looking for a way to tell someone what you need. The dirty toilet represents a worry that voicing your needs will lead to a messy situation, possibly with tears or that your requests for help will be blocked.
The jumping dream is your subconcious telling you to take a risk, a leap of faith, just go for it and you can overcome any obstacles and progress to your goals.
Lifts can symbolise career progression, the tiny lift reflects feeling stifled in your current role, you feel there is no room for expansion.
The glass lift can indicate promotion, you see it as brighter, lighter and better but it feels precarious, not solid.
Arriving at the wrong floor, going up, down and sideways suggests you know this promotion still isn't going to take you where you want to be.
This dream suggests the career path you are on doesn't feel quite right and combined with the jumping dream suggests you need to take a leap of faith to change things.
Please don't take this as me telling you to quit your job, I am simply interpretating the symbolism. X
Thank you very much pukkamumI haven't actually had dreams like these for a little while but thinking back to what was going on at the time, I'd say your interpretation is pretty much spot on

Hi difficulty in running suggests there is a goal you are wanting to reach but you are being held back by anxiety and fear, perhaps fear of failure or a fear of anothers reaction.
The telephone misdialling indicates you are having difficulities relating to others, can't fully express yourself and are maybe overthinking things.
Thank you! :T I haven't had these dreams for a little while and so I can't relate this to what's happening in my life right now, but if they come again, I can try to relate them to what's going on in my life.0 -
Any luck with my poor toothless cat? I had the same dream again last night. It was a complete stranger that told me the neighbour did it."On behalf of teachers, I'd like to dedicate this award to Michael Gove and I mean dedicate in the Anglo Saxon sense which means insert roughly into the anus of." My hero, Mr Steer.0

Good timing liney just done yours, now then cats indreams usually represent our need to be cared for, warmth and affection, teeth represent confidence and the ability to assert one's self.
As the teeth are being pulled out of the cat I would be inclined to think that you are wanting to feel cared for, want warmth and affection but lack the confidence and or assertiveness to put these feelings across to someone.
When an acquaintance appears in our dream we think about the trait you would attribute to that person, you say she watches you from behind the window and she is the one who pulls the cats teeth so we can interpret that in different ways.
Do you feel somehow excluded, as if you are on the outside of a situation or relationship and looking in and this what is making you feel a lack of confidence and or assertiveness, or is there another trait she represents?
The anaysis of this didn't sit right so researched a bit more, cats can also be reflective of creativity and power, so the interpretation comes down to you slightly, but the teeth still mean the same so still a lack of confidence and or assertiveness in one if these two areas.
Sorry.
Some feedback on the woman may help here to come to a more detailed explaination.I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -
Glad you got it all sorted out pukkamum
Does anyone have an urge to just make up all sorts of increasingly crazy 'dreams' and see what they mean?! Not really...:D
This one is not made up I promise, but anytime I am in a scary situation in a dream, I can't scream or speak. I open my mouth and try and strain and nothing comes out. That is a horrible horrible feeling that I can remember in waking life so vividly that sometimes I 'test' my scream when I am alone in the house because I worry if I were in a situation when I need to scream I might not be able to! Last night I needed to scream in my dream because there was an evil sheep at the bottom of the stairs trying to get up to me where I was standing at the top of the stairs. I was petrified and could not scream.
No need to analyse that, just thought I'd share!
I know you said no need to analyse but the sheep intrigued me, animals have very specific meanings in dream analysis.
The inability to scream is a feeling of frustration, an inability to vocalise true fellings, a feeling of not being heard.
Now the sheep represents a feeling of conformity, being led into situations by conforming to prevailing attitudes and social pressures, be it good or bad.I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -
So, last night I dreamt I was the only one who could see and speak to the ghost of my ex sister in law (she died a few years ago and I divorced her brother almost 20 years ago). It seemed I was relaying messages from her to her mum (who died a few months ago but who was alive in the dream). There were lots of other family members there, mine included. I can't remember any of the messages only that her mum didn't believe me and I can remember saying to SIL 'you are going to have to tell me something to tell her to make her believe me'.
Nothing bad happened just this weird sensation of it only being me who could see/speak to her.0 -
Hi I know you've got loads to look at, but I was wondering if you knew anything about this?
About twice a month I have this dream where I "wake up" in bed, it's still night time and as far as I'm concerned I'm properly awake. But then I notice someone in the corner of room, who seems to be malicious (like a murderer/ burglar) . I go to turn to my OH to tell him but can't move a single muscle. I try to speak but make a hoarse kind of whimper. THEN I realise it's a dream and try to thrash around (still unable to actually move) until I eventually really wake up.
Any ideas? or at least has anyone else ever had similar?
Hi this sleep paralysis it occurs when dreaming to prevent you moving around, however if you wake suddenly in the midst of a dream you are still paralysed with the dream imagery still being percieved, this leads to hallucination, usually as yours is it takes the form of a dark shadowy figure.
So you are in fact awake but still in the dream world, this is why you have a realisation you are still dreaming, often you will fall back to sleep very quickly once your body has relaxed and you will have the impression that the waking was just part of the dream.
This occurs during stressful periods in your waking life when you aren't getting quality sleep, when you wake in the night your body is tired but your mind is very active, triggering the hallucination.
When it happens you need to try and relax your whole body, this should send you back to sleep.
You need to try and relax more before bed, perhaps avoid stimulants, such as caffeine computer work etc.I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0
