Christmas eve. All presents under the tree, then day after boxing day it all comes down.
I like to condense it into a few days and love it rather than being sick of the sight of it.0 -

Christmas eve, real tree, last couple of years we've gone to select and cut our own. It stays up just for the twelve days of Christmas. The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0

Ours goes up on Christmas Eve after the children have gone to bed so when they get up on Christmas day it's all there, waiting for them. This actually started before we had children, as our first Christmas together we didn't have any decorations until my DH came home after work on Christmas Eve with a tree and a few bits and pieces to put on it.
My son was born on 22nd December so I wouldn't put them up any earlier now we have children.
The tree etc is usually down again by New Year's Day (if I had my way they'd be gone on Boxing Day), the only exception to this was last year as my DD arrived unexpectedly on 29th December so it was the only time that the decorations have stayed up until 6th January.0 -
Usually 1st or 2nd week of dec, after dad's birthday in early dec. Probably around 2nd weekend this year.0

Christmas tree up 1 December and down 5 january. The tree is decorated and I put up the christmas cards that coordinate with my deco, but other than a few church candles no christmas tat.
I've always wanted a hallway with a sweeping staircase just to drape a garland over it at christmas time.
I love Christmas, anyone done the gift shopping and written the cards?0 -
A weekend in December around the middle-ish, depends on how dates fall.0

What? Is she insane?!? I hope she doesn't have children, they'll be uncontrollable by December.
The tree goes up here the weekend before Christmas, and comes back down on 12th night. Although our new dog may have other ideasGood enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!:j
If all else fails, remember, keep calm and hug a spaniel!0
