Nokia N95 - best deals?

I got a deal on Monday, fron the T-Mobile shop down town. I enquired about the N95 and the girl told me i could get it free on a £42.50 a month Flext + Web 'n Walk package. I told her i didnt need the Web n' Walk, and she said ok, I could have the £35 a month Flext tariff instead.
It wasnt until she got to the till that she realised that i should ahve paid £50 for the handset on top of this tariff, but she gave it to me for free cos it was so far through the buying process.
So, i got a free N95 on the £35 a month Flext tariff (£180 worth of allowance a week, and free evening and weekend calss to any other UK number). I think i got a pretty good deal.0 -
Just had a look on the 3 website using the link and the offer for £28 per month has gone due to heavy demand. Any other good offers like this going around? Need at least 500 mins and 100 txts and not willing to pay more than £25-£30 per month :-(0

You wont get it for 25-30 per month.
i finally gave in and paid £35 per month with o2, 600min 500 txt. not that i need that much but just couldnt get anything cheaper than 35 per month with the phone free0 -
I've been following this thread for quite some time now, as I really REALLY need to upgrade my handset now. I've been with 3 for almost 2years now, and initially got a Nokia 6680 on a 9month cashback deal with MobileRainbow (12month contract) for 500mins and 100texts.
After 11months, I gave 3 my 30day notice and requested a PAC code, during which period I was looking around for other cashback deals from genuine dealers. 1 week before my contract was due to terminate, 3 phoned me and offered me the Nokia 6280 with 10months cashback (£30 x 10) credited into my account immediately if I stayed on for a further 12months.... obviously I said YES straight away, as it worked out £30 x 2 (£60) for the Nokia 6280 and 10months paid for. The 6280 was so crap that I sold it on eBay for £100, thus made a profit, and decided to stay with my existed Nokia 6680! I love the 6680 as it's got almost everything (good battery life, texts, numbers, sat nav which I've installed, etc, etc)!
Anyway, I phoned 3 on Thursday and gave my notice in again, and went through the same questions as most on here (why do you want to leave? etc etc). The best the guy could do was discount the £30p/m tariff down to £25p/m and give me the Nokia N95 for £200 over 18months, and threw me the line of this being an excellent deal as I was a "valued 3 customer being given this once in a lifetime deal". Pathetic and so cheesy! After haggling, I asked him why the deal was £28 for more mins/text (750mins and 150texts) online and how I could get cashback via Quidco and Recommend a Friend. He went quiet on me, and felt a bit stupid. I questioned how much of a "valued customer" I was now, but he gave me the PAC code, and sarcastically wished me all the best.
Well, I have 2 options now...- 1: Wait around and hope that 3 retentions phone me before my contract actually terminates and being offered a good deal (like before)
- 2: Go for the £28 Talker (750mins and 150texts) tariff online and having it downgraded to £20 Talker (500mins and 100texts) after 6months, so in effect £28x6 + £20x12 = £408. Paying £100 for the handset, bringing total to £508. Quidco cashback of £80 = £428. And finally £30 each for Recommending a Friend (get my brother to recommend me) so a further £60 there.... bringing the overall total to a staggering £368!!! Over 18months, this works out to JUST £20.44p/m, for a brand new N95, 500-750mins and 100-150texts, and a FREE bluetooth headset if I get the promotional code from the online helpdesk!!!
Sounds too good to be true, so am I dreaming this deal up, or what?
(by the way, sorry to any of you bored of this long post, but I'm getting overexcited by this, and don't want to sound too optimistic on this deal, so have broken it down)!!!! Apologies in advance, but hope that some more of you can benefit from this deal (if i've calculated it correct)!0 -
I think Quidco only gives £55 cashback, not £80 - feel free to correct me if I am wrong.
I'm tempted to go with three, but still debating. o2 has a number of good options at the moment and these are new phones. The refurbished phones at the moment on the web are showing up as costing more than the new phones, but when I rung o2 today they said the refurb offers hav yet to be updated on the web.
The N95 free on £30 per month, 18 month contract 400 mins and 1000 texts.
The N95 free on £35 per month, 12 month contract 400 mins and 1000 texts.
Go via topcashback for £35 cashback. On the 12 mth contract you can change tarriff 9 months in.
What does everyone make of these offers?

Hey Rachel, just checked Quidco again and it's definately £80 cashback;
£80for Datacard, u300, 6151, 6288, K610i on £20 Talker/Texter, £28 talker,DT1400,VTT700, WO100, Contract, VTT1100, VTT1300, VTT2600, WO256, WO1GB
The offers sound good at £30-£35p/m for decent amount of mins/texts, but I'm still really tempted with Three. Worth going with Three if Quidco are paying £80 and there's a further £60 available via Recommend a Friend... just want someone to come on here and prove me wrong that I'm dreaming this up!0 -

Should be okay if you are comfortable with changing your number.. though i think there is altenrtavie for that too.. move to a PAYG plan and charge your phone for a fiver.. and come back..
Also if you are okay with cash back.. take any 12months free plan .. for a phone for which you can get about 100 or close to 100 (k800i etc loads of them out there these days) and sell that on ebay and buy n95 from ebay.. (about 200-250 ) so you will have an n95 + okay minutes (dependng on your choice of supplier)+ text for under 200 .. i m doing same though i will go for e90 instead of n95 for about 250..0 -
Katwas_com, I think there is a three/cashback thread on here, but I can't find it! The only reason I think it is £55 as a few people had taken out the same offer as you and it had only tracked as £55 - just so you know incase you have the same thing happen to you!
I can't get anything near the 3 offer, I'm holding out for O2 to come up with something amazing!0 -

Oh right, thanks for giving me the heads up on this. Will double-check whether its £55 or £80 on the thread, but Quidco says £80 for the Talker £28 tariff.
I want to keep the same number, so will port it onto a PAYG sim (probably Orange) and have it ported across onto Three again... although there will be the delay in porting the number across, etc.
Not keen on buying cheap cashback deal, then selling phone and buying N95 off eBay. Don't trust people on eBay with top phones like this, as they might do the insurance scam after a few months, blocking the phone and there's nothing that you can do about it, as eBay won't really care after a few months.0 -
The N95 is now free on £30+ tarrif with O2.
anyone seen a good price for N95 for vodafone £9 for first 3 months then £18 with the data pack added making it about £25 per month0
