O2 online shop is doing a free phone 400 mins, 1000 texts and free 1gb memory card for £25 per month if you are willing to take out a 24 month contract. (plus £35 cashback from quidco) Same deal is £30 on 18months or £35 12 months.
Also Phones4U shop offered me free phone 500 mins and 500 texts for £30 per month on 12 month contract with Vodafone, which I would have gone for but the couldn't port my number as I am currently on a Vodafone contract so I have gone for the O2 24 month deal.

Im currently on O2 - 500min/text (+ rollover min) for £20/month. Just reached the end of my contract so did the usual calling O2 retentions and originally got offered -

    NoSim - Same contract + £100 cashback (for not upgrading) - £20/month

Rung up again today as im really interested in the N95 and got offered:

    N95 (Free) - 500min+500txt (non-rollover) - 18month contract, £20/first 12 and then £30 for next 6 and can lower my tarrif after 9 months. Works out at 23.99/month which isn't bad :)

FYI: The lady I spoke to on the phone (who was very nice might I add ;)) said they were running a sort of trial there where a certain group of people was able to give out better offers so might be worth ringing a few times to see if you end up with a better deal!

Thats a very good deal! I rang about 4 times, and the best I got offered was the N95 @£35/month on a 12m contract, 500 mins/texts. I was on the same £20 deal as you last year. I ended up taking it this morning, so I guess its too late to change my mind now! I know you can get 400 mins 1000texts as a new customer, but I needed the extra mins rather than texts.

You'll still have your 14 day cooloff period in which you can return the phone and cancel your contract. You won't get the deal on 12month unless you pay more, so i'd ask them about the 18 month.

Im far from a heavy user, they said my average for the past 3 months was around 50min and 115txt/s a month. So if I can get it you should be able to as well!

Ill give them a call tomorrow then. I end up paying exactly the same as you (£420), although you get your contract for an extra 6 months - quite a big difference!

Any views on the N95 3 Offer that I mentioned previously working out at £20.44p/m?

Go for the £28 Talker (750mins and 150texts) tariff online and having it downgraded to £20 Talker (500mins and 100texts) after 6months, so in effect £28x6 + £20x12 = £408. Paying £100 for the handset, bringing total to £508. Quidco cashback of £80 = £428. And finally £30 each for Recommending a Friend (get my brother to recommend me) so a further £60 there.... bringing the overall total to a staggering £368!!! Over 18months, this works out to JUST £20.44p/m, for a brand new N95, 500-750mins and 100-150texts, and a FREE bluetooth headset if I get the promotional code from the online helpdesk!!!http://threestore.three.co.uk/offerd...ode=18TT90D047

Received myN95 yesterday on O2 24mth deal £25 400mins 1000 texts.and 1gb card. In the terms it would appear that this tarrif can be downgraded after 9 months to £20 for 200mins and 400 texts.

Re your query, have just tried my Vodafone sim in the N95 and it appears to be working fine so I assume it is unlocked.

Very good deal for just £20.83p/m. Have to wait until month 9 though for the first cashback installment. Will look into this offer, aswell as the 3 offer I previously posted, as get £80 from Quidco, and £30x2 directly from 3 for Recommendation, so no cashback hassle. Works out at about £24.50p/m for 750mins & 150txts. Good thing about 3 is can use all the wap for just £5extra p/m.
