Received myN95 yesterday on O2 24mth deal £25 400mins 1000 texts.and 1gb card. In the terms it would appear that this tarrif can be downgraded after 9 months to £20 for 200mins and 400 texts.

Re your query, have just tried my Vodafone sim in the N95 and it appears to be working fine so I assume it is unlocked.
as far as i know all o2 phones are unlocked

Vodafone are now offering the N95 as a free upgrade on 12 month contracts - £30/month for 200 minutes & 100 texts or £35/month with 500 minutes and a 1000 texts. I requested my PAC, quoting the O2 400 minutes for £35 tariff as the reason and got a call the next day offering the N95 for free with the above tariffs.
  • I got the N95 free on 18 month contract with o2, £30 per month, 400 mins and 1000 texts. Got £35 cashback via topcashback. Very impressed with the phone, especially the musicplayer, camera and GPS. I wanted to stay on o2 as I was with them on PAYG and get excellent coverage which I need due to my job which means I travel all over and I wasn't sure 3 would give me that.

I'm impressed with o2, they ported my number within 24 hours, phone arrived very next day, well pleased.
  • :T Why not try www.o2.co.uk

You can find a 12 months contract, 35 per month and the handset is FREE.

This offer is also available in O2 store, try to talk with the manager or deputy manager in store, you probably will find a even better offer.

I can give you guys some example of the deals:
    in a O2 store
    35 per month, 12 month---FREE NOKIA N95
    35 per month, 12 month---FREE SonyEricsson P1i

    in a Vodafone store
    35 per month, 12 month---FREE NOKIA 8600 Luna
    25 per month, 12 month---FREE NOKIA 6110 GPS

Good luck everyone! Hope every1 can get a dream phone.

Think I've found a good deal.

    http://www.mobiles2yourdoor.co.uk/contract_offer_details.asp?ItemKey=168541&MPItemKey=173665

    On Orange
    Free N95
    18 Month Contract
    £35 a month
    500 Minutes
    500 Texts
    12 Months @ 1/2 Price (Claim £210 cheque back)

    Plus £45 from Quidco.

Works out at £20.83 a month.

    Not bad?

    http://www.phones4u.co.uk/shop/shop_contract_details.asp?ItemKey=168541&ManKey=1

Has the same deal as above, but also has
    Free N95
    12 Month Contract
    £35 a month
    300 Minutes
    400 Texts
    6 Months @ 1/2 Price (Claim £105 cheque back)

Quidco do £50 for Phones4u contracts

This works out at £22.08 for 12 months (£265), the other one works out at £20.56 for 18 months (£370)

I'll probably go for the 12 month one if I don't see a better deal, and it hasn't vanished by Thursday.
  • Everyone has different reason to buy N95. I want to get one because as I need mainly for internet browsing and was told in a shop as it is the best phone (fastest) for internet. Is it true not sure but what would be the best deal to go for. I do not care how many minutes or text I get but as I mentioned I need mainly for internet purpose to use on the phone and also conect to my laptop.

    Thanks

Depends on how you're connecting, if it's WiFi I don't think it matters what network you're on because you wouldn't connect through them. If you plan on using WAP/GPRS though you'd have to check the providers because I don't know how much each of them charge.

Connecting to your laptop would most likely be done through either USB, infrared or bluetooth, so again the network doesn't matter.

Does anyone know when 3 will update their N95 deals because they don't appear to be very competitive for current customers at the moment :(

My wife and I have our contracts up for renewal with 3 now, and all they offered her when she phoned was 600 mins and 400 texts for £45 per month on a 12 month contract. The N95 is free.

She kept saying that the offer wasn't good enough and to just give her the PAC code, but it's the best they would offer and she ended up being given the PAC code. :(

We both want 12 month contracts, the N95 FREE and are not really up for cashback offers because they're too much hassle to remember!

Are 3 likely to be offering any better deals over the coming weeks or will we just have to jump ship to another network???

Hey Cheddar. 3 Mobile will be updating their offer on N95 tomorrow night (effective from 1st Sept). Am counting on them to provide the N95 on a cracking deal, as I totally agree with you (i'm in EXACTLY the same boat)!

Just sit tight for a few more days, and I'll update you. I have my PAC to use before 14 Sept, but will be getting a deal very soon. If you do decide to buy from 3, go via Quidco and recommend a friend so you get extra cashback (without the hassle!)

Thanks for the info m8 - would appreciate the update.

But what do you mean by the above? Can I buy via Quidco if they offer me a retention deal???? I presumed Quidco was for new customers only
