i got offered 9 months half price, anybody been offered anything better?
I just rang up to see what they were doing. Was told they can't do anything better than the websites offers, so 6 months 1/2 price on the £27 plan. Reps will be disciplined if they offer anything more because they are lost too much money on the 15 month 1/2 price. Was basically given a sob story by the poor rep.0 -

I just want the phone and ill be getting it unlocked
You can change your price plan after 9 months which will make the phone effectively £27 * 9 + £13.50 * 3 = £283.50 :TA dAy WiThOuT wInE iS lIkE a DaY wItHoUt SuNsHiNe0 -
Which plan is £13.50? £27 is a discounted plan (10% of £30) - are you sure you are allowed to downgrade it?spamberler wrote: »I got 12 months at £27

I had a previous vodafone contract and when I called to drop the tariff they said the base was £13.50. Ive just called to check and the lowest is actually £20

I just rang vodafone and they said they cannot offer me this deal... so disappointed. The offered me this instead:
£30 a month on 12 month contract
£50 for the handset
I really tried to squeeze a better deal, even spoke to a supervisor but they were not budging...urrggghhh :mad:0 -
Cor blimey, its a bit of a bartering world there...
Best I could get was the 6*13.5 + 12*27 with the phone @ £100
So still cheaper to buy it off the website with quidco.
Rang back to use this as a lever and the chap I spoke to this time wouldn't even go that low. Then he started spouting rubbish (you can't use cashback sites with vodafone, the n95 satnav costs £9 every 2 miles, I couldn't have been offered it at £100, yadda yadda yadda)
If they're this bad when your buying it how bad are they at the rest of customer services???

They wont offer me anything good for the phone on an upgrade - best they can do is £150. Insisting I take out a new contract if I want the offer. This was from their retentions department too. My current tariff is £30 per month and I even offered to up it to £30, but no moving.
Tried to palm me off with free Nokia N73 for a year instead.0
