vodafone also do a good internet package only £7.50 for 120mb usage a mth, and if u do go over u only pay max of £1 day upto 15mb
Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.
  • I am upgrading from an N80 to an N95 since I am nearly at the end of my contract. I am currently with Orange, who despite bloody awful customer service have been ok. The best deal that suits me is Orange's current online deal for £35/month with a free N95 on a 12 month contract. I called the retentions and upgrade folk at Orange who can offer me the deal, but not the free handset. They want £299 for the new handset and will only budge by about £100, which is clearly not good enough!

I am happy to buy the online deal, but if I do this, they will not carry my number over! The only way I can keep my number is to transfer it to another pay as you go free sim contract with a pac code and then transfer it back to Orange.

I have had my number for a long time now and I am not prepared to lose it. This sounds like it will b e complete nightmare and I may have to carry my PAYG phone with my old number for a while until I can transfer it back.

Anyone got any ideas or know of any better deals around? I have ordered via ORange, but they have a 14 day full money back. Can't find the good VF deal online - would I need to call for it.

go to vodafone they offer same tariff but are cheaper for data and u enter ur pac code when u order online, so wont have the agro of going to payg then back to contract

best deal on n95 is possibly with orange .com

    Free n95,
    700 mins
    100 txt
    unlimited landline calls

Special direct offer: 100 mins extra for 9 months

    £35 a month

Also get the 18 month contract and add the promotional code 100credit and get 100 quid credited which will bring your bill to just above 29 quid everymonth .....

Good minutes ....good price ....great phone

Also you can go down on tariff after 9 months ....so lets put it this way ....

    9*35 = 315
    9*20 = 180

    495-100= 395

So the phone wud cost around 395....and considering the phone costs around 300 on ebay this may be a bargain ....

I think Vodafone has a good offer: £35 per month 500mins 250txts and on a 12 month contract the phone is £50 but you can get £58 back through Quidco, so essentially free.
    http://www.quidco.com/mobiles-utilities/mobile-phones-plans/vodafone/

So thats £420 and you get it in 12months and not tied into 18 months. Even less if you downgrade your tariff, not sure when Vodafone will let you 3, 6 or 9 months in. I'm guessing 6. So for for a 12 month contract, thats the best i can find.

Ok, so the Orange deal expired yesterday. I procrastinated since the battery life appeared to be crap, so didnt go for it. Silly me.

I quite fancy the idea of free Orange broadband - if its naff, can be cancelled anyway. Might try calling them up and seeing if they can do it.

Guys, the Vodafone deal is back on!!!

I phoned Vodafone this evening (11 June, 1800hrs) and got the following deal as a new customer ready to port from T-mobile:
    • Free Nokia N95 (She tried to charge me £150 originally, but spoke to her manager when I told her I had my PAC number and was ready to port today)
    • 300 mins and 100 txts per month
    • 15 months x £13.50 and 3 months x £27
    • 3 months free insurance (£6.95 p/m thereafter unless you cancel)
    • 1 months free Internet access (£7.50 p/m thereafter unless you cancel)
    • 1 months free Sky (£5.00 p/m thereafter unless you cancel)
    • 2nd SIM card for £10 p/m which can be cancelled giving 30 days notice in writing
    • Vodafone Passport - calls whilst abroad charged at 75p connection fee and the rest is taken out of your allowance
    • 512MB memory card - she wouldn't give me the 1GB!
    • In-car charger and £3.95 delivery charge
I also phoned them back to confirm I will receive a new handset and they said that all handsets are new unless the operator has read out the disclaimer saying that they are offering you a reconditioned handset - which she didn't read to me, so I can assume it is new handset!

    Phone being delivered on friday!
